Duoresp update
So I've been taking duoresp for a week now, 4 puffs twice a day. I have only needed to take my ventolin twice in a week, which for me is incredible, no bad side effects yet, my chest did hurt on the third day but it passed. Mornings are the worst time for me, I would normally be coughing and very tight

Why am I gasping?
I have recently developed a symptom alongside many others which closely resemble Fibromyalgia, but that's not been diagnosed as the GPs seem to have written me off. I have a diagnosis of Asthma from my childhood, but it has not been an issue really for a very long time and I seem to have grown out of

Hot and humid!
I hate the hot and humid weather! :( Everyone keeps saying don't moan about the heat but I feel like there's an elephant on my chest everyday! My office is horrible (I work in a hospital and you know how hot they are!), I've got an old desk fan which marginally helps but I'm not sure what else to do

Hi there. I am looking for some advice please. I have asthma - at least I think I have it I have never had a spirometer test. I have been on and off inhalers for years but this past two years I have had to use them daily. I am on serotide 250 and ventolin. I have had peak flows - lately they have

Well, that was interesting!
I posted earlier but it doesn't seem to have appeared! Anyway.. I took the plunge this evening. Put headphones on, beach wasn't TOO busy so told myself if others can do it, I can. I did the brisk 5 min walk, then the running bit - I had to stop after ten seconds as I just couldn't breathe! Had my Ventolin

Short of breath and cold symtoms all the time
Is why my dr ordered the xray, blood test, and CT scan tomorrow orderred. For a mass found on my lung Can anything be done about easing my breathing while I go through the tests. I take Advair, Incruse, and ventolin as a rescue inhaler, with no help is their something stronger I can ask for.

Fostair NEXThaler
I've been railroaded into having Fostair NEXThaler by the Asthma nurse at my surgery , I've been on Clenin Modulute 250 mcg , salbutamol and salmetarol , 2 puff of each twice a day, for over 30 years ( back then it was Becotide and Ventolin ) and my asthma has been in control . I've just read through

Rattling
I've got a rattle which seems to be on the right side of my chest and seems to go down my side. I am taking all my hayfever drugs and I am taking my Seretide as prescribed. I've been taking my Ventolin a bit more too. I have been coughing as well. I've done my peak flow reading which is 450, about normal

Poorly controlled Asthma?
Thanks in advance for any advice / help :) 41-year-old male who was has had Asthma since birth. For the most part, lead a perfectly 'normal' life, apart from occasions where Asthma flare-ups (combined with hayfever) slowed me down. More than my fair share of chest infections etc and didn't help that

Has anyone else been told to use Pulmicort nebs after exercising?
I am not awfully well at present, goodness knows why. Anyhow went to have the Prednisolone discussion with doctor this morning, as peak flow has been hovering round red zone for days now. He, like my consultant, do not want me to stop exercising, I explained I was having to use a lot of Ventolin to
