Maybe the hrt is not strong enough rather than causing the symptoms. I’m only just starting the perimenopause process so I can’t advise on hrt but I’ve tried all the antidepressants over the years. I found the ssri‘s didn’t help my depression. I’m now on a different type of antidepressant called venlafaxine which works so much better for me.
