weight gain or loss on NDT verses synthetic Levothyroxin
Another question I have is concerning weight loss. Studies suggest more weight loss on NDT verses synthetic Levo. I did seem to gain weight when on Tirosint but I was hungry all the time !! The pharmacist told me there is no different at all..

side effects from NDT verses synthetic levothyroxin
Curious to know if anyone else has experienced tinnitus from taking nature throid. About 30 min after my morning dose it begins and it's there all day long ! Strange but I did not have this issue on Tirosint. My dose in only 1 grain from 100mcg of Tirosint. Also question if one grain of NDT is equal

Graves Disease Treatment/Recovery
Hi guys! I just wanted to send out a post of encouragement to everyone. This is a wonderful site to learn about treatment options for hyper and hypothyroidism and it helped me feel less alone! But I also think it is important to talk about the recovery process to give everyone who just got diagnosed

Help with T4 & T3 dosages
I recently reduced my Levoxyl of 200mcg down to 175 due to not feeling well on that high of dose, it gave me high blood pressure and anxiety and my RT3 was on the high end according to last labs. I am also taking cytomel, I was on 15mcg but I seem to keep needing to add more. I am now up to 30mcg of

Also fatigue in the afternoon, falling asleep trying to watch anything on the TV by 8:00. TSH is 1.70 and my

I’m currently on Concerta and trying supplements such as flaxseed and
tyrosine
. Adderall and Vyvanse had to many side affects such as anxiety and aggression. I’m in my mid fifties now struggling with menopause as well. What a disastrous combination.

BTK Inhibitor Success Puts Focus on Resistance Mechanisms
Less than 5 years after Bruton
tyrosine
kinase (BTK) inhibition was introduced in hematologic malignancies, the need for strategies to address primary and secondary mechanisms of resistance has emerged.

Thank you everyone
He recommended
tyrosine
, and gaba. I listened to a podcast on Sam-e. http://www.blog.parkinsonsrecovery.com/sam-e-parkinsons/ I added it to my supplements andI began to feel better. Then I read about high dose thiamine which I started in March 2018. I got my energy back.

Just joined. Have Hashimoto and no joy for 8yrs on levothyroxine. About to embark on a journey of healing my gut as that what all the functional doctors say and already quitting gluten for a couple of days has shown me it's the right path. Next is getting rid of dairy and doing a liver cleanse. Continued

Alternative thyroid medication
I was thinking down the Selenium and
Tyrosine
line but then I saw the above and wondered if they would be sort a try. Has anyone tried them? Do you still take Thyroxine too?

L-Tyrosine 500mg
I went to see a nutrionist recently and she prescribed me with L-
Tyrosine
(free from amino acid) for my thyroid and to bring up my level of T4. I am currently on NDT tablets and am very dubious about starting these new tablets. She said it will help my hair to grow back as my hair is very thin.

NDT with no fillers?
Does anyone know of any NDT brands without fillers? I was looking into Tirosint (Levothyroxine) but it's just too expensive for me. I'm currently going without thyroid medication as the reactions to fillers are worse than the relief it gives me. If you can recommend a brand, and have a source, please
