Until last night my

got the best of me. I just want to know what he thinks of me now but he keeps ghousting me... I dont want to txt him and bother him with my curiosity.he wanted me to open up to him... and I did... but now I feel vulnerable.

Meds not working
If I increase I start pulling my hair (
trichotillomania
)...so I have to leave the Zoloft there. But I feel like 90% of my day is spent worrying. I cry a lot. Just basically depressed. I have a new doc bc my old one retired.

Lost
I have reached out and have been told by 2 doctors she has what is known as
trichotillomania
and I should have her seen by a psychologist and put into Cognative therapy. I have bought her a fidgit cube to help with anxiety. Has anyone here ever delt with someone they know that has done this?

Trich help
So I'm new to this site and I've been looking for a forum for
trichotillomania
/ trich and I've done some searching but the closest I could find was this forum as I'm not sure on the boarder lines of trich and if it's slightly compulsive?

New - Teenage daughter suffers
She has been diagnosed with
trichotillomania
and OCD (from age 8). There really are not any good counelors in our area. We are heading to Cincinnati in a few weeks. I have tried to encourage her to find a support group or something, anything to help at this point.

Not sure if it is OCD...I am terrified.
I aslo have
trichotillomania
but I am glad that i don't touch my hair. I also cut the alcohol because I am scared that i will lose control and eventually...you know. So do you think it is Pure-O OCD? Sorry for the long post.

Questiom on facial hair
I used to suffer from
trichotillomania
with my facial hair, but generally only affects the areas around my chin. Perhaps this has caused damage to the follicles? I also didnt grow much facial hair until a year or two ago, since which it has started to grow thicker. Thanks for reading.

Stress
I have had
trichotillomania
since 2014, when I was 13, and I went through phases of pulling my hair out then stopping and only pulling a couple of strands per week or day, but then it would get bad again. I ended up with huge noticable bald patches which haven't fully grown back.

fear of faking trichotillomania
What conserns me is a few months ago I was googling
trichotillomania
just because I was generally curious and I'm thinking that this sudden urge to pull is just me wanting attention and faking it,as it has come on so suddenly.
