Hair picking
One of the compulsions I hate the most is hair picking (
trichotillomania
) which even after starting my OCD treatment doesn't seem to go away. I know it's been relatively soon since I started taking meds, but will this compulsion go away eventually?

ADAA blog: 6 Ways to Tackle BFRBs Outside Your Home
Body Focused Repetitive Behaviors (BFRBs) include things like skin picking (excoriation disorder), hair pulling (
trichotillomania
), nail biting/picking, cheek chewing and more. BFRBs can often make us feel like we have no control over our behaviors and that we’re at the mercy of an endless cycle.

I think i have really severe adhd and autism
The disorders I know i have goes by the following: adhd/autism and
trichotillomania
(plucking out my hair), and a minor speech impediment with a stutter. I used to see a specialist for my speech impediment but I was younger but I was never told I am special needs.

Trigger warning: Pica, Sexual assault, Trichotillomania
After this I developed
trichotillomania
. Something I am noticing recently, but think have been since the start of time, is my inability to focus or remember stuff (not like memory problems). It is like I have to put so much pressure like proper force on on words in order for them to go into head.

How do I break the habit?
I'm not sure if it would be accurate as to go so far to say that I might have
Trichotillomania
. I'm not really pulling on my hair so much as I am excessively touching it and twirling it with my hands. I do have OCD so maybe this is just an OCD behavior and tendency I have gradually developed.

Daughter Hair Pulling
I believe its called "
trichotillomania
". She feels she is not suffering from depression but there are some underlying conditions. She is now in 11 grade and I have noticed balding as a result. Any advice on how to get her to stop? Gone on way too long! Thank you, Jason Sharp

Lexapro Usage
My immediate problem that I am struggling to fix in hair pulling also know as
Trichotillomania
, for which I am not able to find a solution as the impulse is very strong when it kicks in. Need help.
