Fish oil and cholesterol
I have been on what's labelled a "high quality fish oil for optimal heart health" (cod oil) for the past six months and taking the maximum recommended dose of two capsules daily. However, it seems to have done nothing for my triglyceride and cholesterol levels; my triglycerides came back out of range

Acupuncture or Ultrasound Therapy Perhaps
Hello again! I am considering trying either acupuncture or ultrasound therapy for PMR to see if it will help, alongside pred. Has anyone tried either of these alternative therapies and found that they helped in any way - or not as the case may be? Your input would be helpful as I don’t want to waste

Update on starting Estradiol Patches for RT ADT
I started Estradiol Patches (4 X 0.1mg/24hr twice weekly patches; one patch changed out daily) 5 days ago. This is for short-term ADT as adjuvant for IMRT of oligometastatic disease of the left pelvic lymphatics identified on Ga-PSMA scan at UCLA. One week in and 10 days more until the RT (60Gy/30fx)

My pelvic pain synopsis
So I am a fellow pelvic pain sufferer and after huge amounts of research and trying things and a multitude of discussions with people,I think I am seeing the light somewhat.I myself am a Certified mind/body/lifecoach,which I decided to do because I think so many of us are disconnected from the damage

Is my CKD stage 2 has been delayed or false positive?
Over two weeks ago, I has been diagnosed with CKD stage 2, with eGFR of 82 and existence of both proteinuria 1g/day and albuminuria with ACR around 108mg/g. Today, I retested the lab and consulted another GP and the lab showed that protein in my urine is negative, albumin in urine is 10mg/L, ACR is less

Hypertensive limit for diabetics
I am diabetic and I found that, my BP is highly fluctuating from 115/70 to sometimes 147/ 93. I am using digital instrument for my BP measurements. I want to know from this noble forum that how reference BP should be taken for knowing the actual BP and at what BP level, medication is advised. My HbA1C

Obese T2 DM Vs Thin T2 DM
Are you Obese T2 or Thin and skinny T2?? I have been studying the Etiology & mechanism of Obese T2 Vs Thin/Skinny T2 since quite some time. I have accessed a lot of research papers/ studies on the subject. I find there is a lot of difference between the two and therefore the strategies to be followed
