Can anyone recommend me a clinic on the continent where I could get a hysteroscopy done?

So yet ANOTHER spanner in the works, my clinics now want me to have another diagnostic hysteroscopy done. “Ringing the GP for a gynae referral” like they suggested is not an option. With the way the NHS is going at the moment I will have died of old age before that ever materialises. I have no choice now but to go private, but I can’t afford it in the UK. It’s £1800+.

I’m sat here crying my eyes out writing this, I just want to get on with my next ivf and I can’t. My bleeding is out of control and they won’t do anything until they find out why. Doesn’t matter that my last hysteroscopy and lap both showed nothing. I’m completely broke, I can barely scrape the cash for more ivf let alone this.

If anyone is able to DM me a clinic in Europe they recommend I would be eternally grateful, thank you so much in advance xx

Hi NemoFish, I’m afraid I don’t have an answer to your question but just wanted to say how sorry I am that you are going through all of these extra tests and how truly frustrating it is that you even have to consider going abroad. Big hug and I hope someone on here can help you out.x

Hi, i am from india and if it is possible to come here you can do hysteroscopy here, cost is much lower than uk. I also did ivf and in first attempt i fot pregnant . Successful ratio of my clinic is higher. People from other country got positive result. May be it will work for you also.

Which part of the UK are you in? I’m in Gloucester and because of a tiny amount of discharge and bleeding (I’m 51 and been menopausal for 2 years) my GP saw me same day (not the norm - you can never usually see a GP these days) and referred me to the hospital for ultrasound followed by gynae appointment. They saw me within a week. They are keen to do a hysteroscopy within the next 3 weeks. I think it’s due to possible risk of cancer, although that risk is very low . It seems it’s a postcode lottery if you can’t get a hysteroscopy done. I feel for you. If I could, I would give you my appointment. I really hope you are able to get it done somehow without having to go abroad. All the best.
