Finally took the plunge and started a self-trial of Levothryoxine (after 12 months procrastination)
I find it particularly maddening that the NHS won't consider a diagnosis based on presence of elevated TG Antibodies (which I have, along with symptoms and previously elevated TSH), but that they only consider
TPO
Antibodies as diagnostic when it comes to autoimmune thyroid disease.

Advice on medichecks results.
Hi all, my latest results have arrived. I've been on 75mcg for over 1 year now as my GP wouldn't increase the dosage, even when I complained of a lot of symptoms. My last results in June 2019 were: TSH 1.58mu/L 0.35-5 (GP doesn't do anything else) Latest from Medichecks (early morning, fasting and took

Adjusting to higher dose of levo-? Only 2 weeks in (advice needed)
I have Hashis, confirmed by
TPO
antibodies and was diagnosed a year ago. Since this increase I have been more sweaty, accelerated heartrate and clammy and I feel hot but I don’t have a high temperature. It is keeping me from being able to sleep. I also have very high anxiety.

Is there a link between hypothyroidism and POTS?
TSH - 0.47 (0.27 - 4.20) Free T3 - 4.23 (3.1 - 6.8) Highest level since starting testing in April 19 Free T4 - 11.0 (12.0 - 22.0) Lowest level, but know that NDT has an impact Total T4 - 56.9 (66 - 181) Lowest level, but know that NDT has an impact TgAb antibodies - 271 (<115) Highest level

Update
My T4 has gone up from 13.8 which I guess is good and my
TPO
has stayed about the same.

Taking Levo only as I have needed it - 5 months diary.
My
TPO
antibodies were 136 when first tested (normal >35). The biggest impact on how much levo I need, in hindsight - has been presence or absence of significant stress and significant travel with children, which, unsurprisingly I find pretty stressful.

Low TSH and Low fT4
The blood results are (no food, but was kept waiting three hours for blood draw, 12:30): fT4 1.09 0.90-1.70 TSH 0.98 0.30-4.20
TPO
-AK 13 <34 Thyreoglobulin-AK 6 5-100 With a fT4 so relatively low, how can she have enough fT3? Is that possible? My guess is she is running on adrenaline.

Trying to get better but desperate
Note: in just 2 months my TSH cut in half, my single nodule disappeared and my
TPO
antibodies dropped in range and have stayed in range ever since).

Hashimoto’s and T3 conversion problem
Free T3 is 4.0 and top range is 4.4Free T4 is 1.82 and top range is 1.77 Reverse T3 is 25 down from 40 top range is 24
TPO
is 15(0-35) Does this say I have Hashimoto’s and don’t convert from T4 to T3 well? Hormone doc gave me Cytomel.

Help with my results
I was on 150mg with a TSH of 2.15mIU/L (.27-4.20) and >600
TPO
ku/L (<34.00) but still feeling horrendous so we bit the bullet and paid to see Dr Peatfield privately. He concluded that I was suffering from adrenal fatigue, most likely from teenage Glandular Fever that left me with CFS for years).

Gluten Free / anti-bodies
In May they were
TPO
79, and it's now 70. The TG was 616 and is now 520. To me that's not a lot of difference, and I feel no different. I admit there are more options at the shops these days, but eating out is difficult, as few places offer gluten free.

Medichecks Recommendation needed 🤔
From what others have recommended on here, a test should include:- TSH T4 T3 FT3 VitaminD B12 Folate Ferratin
TPO
& TG Thyroid antibodies Anything else? Medichecks do one test for all these. Currently offering a discount.

Final update
It was for
TPO
antibodies and my result was 28.1 (receptionist said there is no range but from looking on here I gather <34 is normal). So I guess my issues aren't thyroid related and I need to either get over it or look elsewhere.

Help diagnosing hyperthyroidism
Are
TPO
&TG antibodies still relevant with hyper? (Asking for my sister who I suspect has hyper. Have advised her to order a test via Medichecks, but I obviously need to know which one is most relevant, hence my question about which tests)
