symptoms or not?
I am so tired of not getting advice from a dr so asking on here about some of my symptoms. My legs ache terribly at night from knee downwards and can become swollen and lumpy. I have eye bags, numb feet gained over a stone and gone up two sizes. I have other things but these are the ones I want to ask

Any post-menopausal women out there? My symptoms of ADD -for me it’s really MDD motivation deficit disorder, have gotten much worse over the past couple of years. I am looking to go on Hormone Replacement Therapy- was wondering if anyone has experienced this and did it help?

Do steroids mask infection
I had a total knee replacement on 25th Nov. Took 10 mgs of Pred (double dose re Sick Day rules). On 24th Dec got infection in scar - stitch abcess for which I got antibiotics from MIU. Saw Ortho surgeon a few days later who told me to stop taking antibiotics because they would mask bacterial infection

RLS and HRT
I’ve always suffered mild rls in the evenings but some leg lifts and going to sleep stopped it , last few months it’s severe , I was up every half hour all last night walking the floors with restless legs , arms and stomach , my mind going haywire 🥴I think it could be linked to HRT and menopause but

Anyone know anything about ferritin and trans ferritin saturation levels?
OK so I got some results back re iron and B12 and would so appreciate some expert understanding from anyone of you. I believe I might have lowish ferritin. It's 39ug but my transferritin saturation is 52%, which is high. How do I increase my iron levels if I need to, with high transferritin saturation

Help with iron results - follow up from 3 arrows nutra
Hi everyone, I did an iron panel and I’m quite amazed with my ferritin level. I have been lax with my iron supps since going to T3 only and thought I would definitely have ranked my previously low results. To my disbelief, my ferritin is the highest I’ve ever seen it! I was previously taking the 3 arrows

I'm so frustrated with my GP!
As per the title really! I'm incredibly frustrated, and frankly angry, with the standard of care - or rather the lack thereof - that I've received from my local surgery. I initially went to the doctor 18 months or so ago complaining of feeling constantly exhausted, gaining weight, and struggling to

booked in for full hysterectomy
hey I had a lap back in October and it looks like the endo has returned so I’m booked in for a total hysterectomy! I’m really scared about it all. How are you after yours? Has it changed you at all? I’ve already started hrt and get on really well with the oestrogel especially with less adhd symptoms

Bleeding on HRT
Have been on continuous combined HRT for about 3 years with no problems. (Had a fibroid removed in 2021).3 months ago the GP recommended I increase oestrogel pumps from x2 to x3 daily as I was complaining of fatigue. 5 days ago I started bleeding with period pain/cramps. GP advised I stop HRT and review

Newly diagnosed
Hi all, diagnosed 4th May after episode of very rapid heart beats that wouldn't stop. Went to A & E where the diagnosis of AF was made. Stayed in for 5 days while they did CT scan of lungs and ultra sound of leg. Reason for that was that I had no symptom at all until a partial knee replacement 2nd March

8 week bloodtest
Hi all, I've been on a reduced levothyroxine dose of 125mcg for the last 8 weeks and i stopped taking the iron tablets as my stomach was too painful, so for the past 7 weeks i've been using an iron patch. My dr agreed to retest my iron as i didn't want to be wasting my time and money if the patches

Advice on results please
(All my blood tests were taken fasting and early morning. I stop biotin a week before and all other supplements 5 days before (to be safe!). I take T4 and T3 - currently 100mcg T4 and 20mcg T3). I generally take my last dose of T3 24hrs then 12 hrs before my blood test, but this time it was about

Anyone find PVCs are accompanied by a feeling of mucus in your throat?
I had constant PVCs 24/7 for 6-8 months two years ago. At the time I mentioned to my GP and cardiologist that I felt like I had mucus in the left side of my throat, like post-nasal drip, but they both ignored that and didn't give me any kind of explanation. After starting on HRT (I am in perimenopause
