I don't know whether this is relevant but my husband , the PWP, had to undergo an 18 month course of hormone ( oestrogen) injections to treat his prostate cancer at the beginning of the year. It made his Parkinsons symptoms so much worse that he declined treatment after 6 months.
In treatment of prostate cancer, they give you estrogen to suppress testosterone because the prevailing medical thought is testosterone stimulates growth of prostate cancer cells. The supposed link between exogenous testosterone and prostate cancer was disproven decades ago. Here's a thread I posted a few years ago about testosterone and PD.
