Inhalers
I take 4 inhalers, Fostair 200/6, Spiriva Reptimist and Ventolin with a Fluticasone Nasal spray. My asthma nurses have advised a nebuliser for emergency use but NHS no longer fund. Does anyone else find these expensive

Hi is anyone on these two inhalers. I have been on them for 18years. I found them very good but just lately I find I have to take a puff of Atrovent in between. I find the weather affects me dreadfully in Ireland. I also have a nebuliser whuch I take if I am really not well but thankfully it not often

Update on breathing
Wish I cud say I was ok! I'm just sitting in my chair with shallow breathing, deciding weather I shud go to hospital! I am contemplating because my family needs me this week! I know I need hi dose prednisone drip to open me up and they'll keep me there so I'm treating myself with my nebulizer and inhaler

Hi Everybody
Hope this post finds you well! 😊 Allergies are a headache but I try to pop in the meds and to enjoy the weather.. in the shade. Steroids don't like the sun nor does doxycyclin.😉 We are going through a heatwave here I don't know about you. Nights get harder, inhalers on my bedside table and nebuliser

What can i do in a COPD emergency?
Hello everyone, i'm new on here. I've joined because I'm trying to support my brother who has severe COPD. I was wondering if anyone can advise me as to what i can do if i'm out with him and he has a sudden breathing attack? At home he has oxygen, nebuliser and inhalers. Are there any portable oxygen

Any COPD clinical trials near Stockport?
I have Bronchiectasis, which comes under the umbrella of COPD. I have an electric nebulizer on prescription, which uses a saline solution, but lately it is becoming less effective. I've also tried a "Flutter"with mixed results. I had to buy that myself for £50!!! I am willing to go on any clinical trials

Nebuliser Hose and Humidity
Just looked at my Nebuliser hose and found condensation droplets inside, caused by the high humidity inside today, so just had the compressor on drying it out, as I don't want damp in the hose which will attract mould, then I will breathe it in, and we know what happens next....best order another hose

What a month
It started with a fall when I tripped on a rug in the hall while trying to bring in the milk, I use a frame for walking indoors since braking my hip in November. Managed to get up eventually and was ok except for a huge raised bruise on my leg. 3 days later I took my weekly Alendronic tablet for my bones
