I saw a post on here a few weeks back re boots vitamins at least I think it was here lol. I had just bought some boots own brand vitamins and had taken the B12 for 3 days when I read there was an ingredient in them that was bad. I can't remember the ingredient as I binned them straight away. My bowels

Help with NDT dosage
Hi all! I’m wondering, should I increase my dose? A little background: I had a TT for papillary cancer and 50 mci RAI in 2014, at 22 years old. I had quite a few health troubles since then, and have managed to feel a lot better by taking 1 grain NDT and 50 mcg of synthroid every morning, and 1/2 grain

Blood test results
I was diagnosed hyper end of Nov 2018 and have since been diagnosed with toxic nodule. The GP/endo never asked if I took any vitamins. I was previously taking a multi vitamin including iodine 200ug and biotin 45ug. Would this impact results significantly? I seem to be only marginally out of range

Hyper treatment options
I’ve have read up on hyper treatment options and I’m so stuck. The cause of mine is toxic nodule so unlike cases with autoimmune I would have to remain on anti thyroid medication life long. Since my first and only endo appointment the consultant has been urging I agree to RAI. With all I read about

GRAVES
So a few mentioned this, esp when I had Hyper before the Radio Iodine, now when I went Hypo, what is the chances of still having episodes of Hyper, as I had my symptoms before the Iodine and still having them only not as often. Trying to get info to go back to GP, although not hold out much hope with

Povidone
Does anyone know whether Povidone-K should be taken with thyroid medication, it has appeared as a filler in some new blood pressure tables, I think it is iodine related, and had thought if one was on t3 and t4, you should not have iodine, is this correct

Sick to death of GPs treating symptoms and not dealing with cause- fibromyalgia is not a disease, it's a symptom
When I had serious fibromyalgia last year my GP wanted me to take a muscle relaxant and an anti-depressant. I was not very receptive, more and more of us are being "diagnosed" with similar thyroid symptoms and having them treated individually, this is pointless and endless... get the thyroid regime,

Does anyone have long term remission from GRAVES DISEASE?
Hi I’m desperately trying to get Graves’ disease into remission. I’v only managed 18 months in 8 years. I’m being pressured by endo to make a definitive decision but I don’t think either RAI or thyroidectomy will cure graves and I will be left with graves plus hypothyroidism. I get so cross at the way
