tooth extraction
I came off of alendronic acid over 7 years ago and now need a tooth extracted. Has anyone had this done that long after treatment and had any problems? My dentist is referring me to the hospital to have it extracted, but I am concerned it may be too risky.

hiatus hernia
I have been on prednisone since January 2017…it seems a lifetime ago☹️ I was put on Alendronic Acid which in turn gave me a hiatus hernia/GERD (2019) ...the consultant I saw said he was positive it happened because of the AA…☹️ It has undoubtedly had a major affect on my life making PMR almost acceptable

Change of medication or stay with existing regime?
I have been diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis/axial and peripheral spondlyarthritis seems to vary. I've been taking COSENTYX 300 for about 3 years, plus MTX currently 15mg. This was working well at the beginning of the year. I started on Alendronic acid in Feb and had a big flare. Stopped Alendronic

root canal work while on zoledronic acid infusions
I have 6 monthly dental checkups, and for years all has been well. I had my first zoledronic acid infusion 28th December 2023. My last dental checkup was in March. A week ago I started getting intermittent pains in the right side of my jaw, both bottom and top. GP ruled out PMR and recommended I visit

Hi, this is my story
I broke my foot following a fall off a high kerb in August 2021 and should have been referred for a DEXA scan by the minor injuries unit who treated this, but wasn't until I asked my GP for one, following a tip off from a friend who knew that that is NHS guidance. Following the DEXA scan and recommendation

Do you really need to keep taking those tablets when your managing to reduce your pred successfully? I must admit I don't tend to forget sometimes. Has anyone stopped taking them?
