Hypothyroidism
Hello, I haven’t felt like myself for over a year, started with acid reflux, swelling of hands, feet, eyes and cheeks then itchy skin, fatigue, slow movement, low mood. GP agreed to do blood test, nothing came up except high cholesterol. GP prescribed statins for high cholesterol, antihistamine for swelling

I’ve had a bumpy ride over the past 4 years, some of it self-induced by being impatient. When I started testing my thyroid everything was low inc tsh and cortisol, in retrospect I suppose my body was just trying to survive on drippings. I was never sure I had a thyroid problem as my tsh was always

is it possible…
is it possible for t4 and tsh levels to change dramatically in 6 weeks? Six weeks ago I did a medichecks test and my tsh was just within the bottom of the range and my t4 and t3 roughly the same as when I tested before…slight drop. Generally, I’ve felt ok for a few months (been on 75mcg, taken regularly

Hi I was taken off Carb 15mg on my last visit to GP on Dec 8th as I complained that my voice had changed and I was struggling to get out of bed. He looked at my results taken 23.10.23 which were TSH 7.85 (0.27-4.20) and FT4 10.5 (11.0-25.0) I assume the GP had done this incase of over medicated for

T3 Uni-pharma
Happy New year to all! I have been a member for a few years now although I haven’t posted recently. I have been taking levothyroxine for over ten years and about 3 years ago I starting adding a very small amount of t3 which I self source. My question is, have uni-pharma stop producing t3 all together

Adrenal Saliva Testing
It has been ages since I have done one of these tests. I feel since being on T3/T4 the last few months it would be helpful to have another one. Has anyone any recommendations and can point me in the right direction to order one. Thank you :)

Some advice on new lab results please
I am a 40 year old woman and have been feeling very weird lately. I was wondering if I entered perimenopause so I had a blood draw on 21st day of my cycle. I think my progesterone is low? estradiol: 110 ng/L progesteron: 9.13 microgram/L LH: 11.7 U/L FSH: 7.9 U/L (I am not on HRT)

What next? Thyroid?
I am looking for some advice before I go back to the GP next week, and I feel 'safe' asking it here. First some background might help: I live in Australia- GPs and their nursing staff here are no better educated than elsewhere the world, but fortunately we can buy hydroxycobalamin over the counter

I am about to go to the doctors in an hour to speak about some blood tests I had done last week. To me the results are on the higher side. I read that it isn't advisable to take thyroxine with suppressed TSH and T4!
Hi, I'm wondering if anyone is taking thyroxine with a suppressed T4 (6.6 range 08-19.1) and TSH 0.01 I read on google, it's not advisable if levels above, are suppressed or you have adrenal fatigue, which I have suffered from in the past. My main medication is 40 mcg of T3 which makes a big difference

T3 and endo advice needed / East Sussex
Hi, am really struggling to get T3 medication. I asked for an NHS referral to Sunil Z but got declined due to being out of area. I live in Brighton and he's Surrey and Sussex NHS. Can they just decline like this? I don't have limitless funds to do endless private blood tests and consultations. The cost
