Keep taking the tablets!
I've just been down to the G.P. for my freebie B12 jab. (s.i. at home weekly) I told her that I've been feeling really tired lately, like I did before my P.A. diagnosis, when I was very anemic. So she says, ah, go and buy some B12 tablets from the chemist, that will make you feel better! Cue the lecture

Do you or someone you know have a diagnosis of Autosomal Recessive Spinocerebellar Ataxia Type-17?
If you or someone you know has a genetically confirmed diagnosis of Autosomal Recessive Spinocerebellar Ataxia Type-17 (SCAR17), you could take part in a new survey about starting a family. The charity Genetic Alliance UK, of which Ataxia UK is a member, are currently sharing a consultation survey

Low phosphate again
Hi everyone, I'll try and keep this as short as I can!So I keep having episodes of upper back & chest pain. Then get random feelings like my heart stops, then it beats super fast then slows again. This happens multiple times in a row which I then go to a&e to get checked out. Every time it comes back

Thyroid medication changes when starting HRT for perimenopause
I have been self medicating with liothyronine and levothyroxine for the past two years or so. Today I started the estrogen patch for perimenopause symptoms, and will also start progesterone in a couple of days. The provider that prescribed these said that some women need to increase their thyroid

should I start eating a Brazil nut daily to increase selenium in an attempt to help my poor conversion issue (high t4, low t3 and high tsh)? Do you think it will help in anyway?

Help with understanding results and ranges please
Sorry, I know Iāve posted a similar question before, but these are my latest results and I canāt tell if theyāve improved or not. My ft4 is up, is this good? But my ft3 is lessā¦ not good? I find the optimal % confusing. For reference Iām not currently on any medication and Iām gluten and dairy free
