Do you or someone you know have a diagnosis of Autosomal Recessive Spinocerebellar Ataxia Type-17?

If you or someone you know has a genetically confirmed diagnosis of Autosomal Recessive Spinocerebellar Ataxia Type-17 (SCAR17), you could take part in a new survey about starting a family.

The charity Genetic Alliance UK, of which Ataxia UK is a member, are currently sharing a consultation survey on starting a family. Your responses will help to provide the vital voice of people and families affected with the condition to the committee deciding whether to license the reproductive technique, preimplantation genetic testing, for couples with a chance of having a child with autosomal recessive spinocerebellar ataxia-17 (SCAR17).

The survey will close on March 3rd. Click here to fill it out smartsurvey.co.uk/s/4CLPC0/.
