Finally going for RAI, I think (after 15 years of ATDs)
Surgeon (london, invasive, expensive, private) today recommended RAI based on my history despite assumedly earning more £ from
thyroidectomy
. I have mild TED (1 - 2 mm proptosis). Surgeon says using corticosteroids for 3 days during RAI I will ensure no effect on the eyes.

Thyroid resistance
Does anyone know if one could suffer from thyroid resistance and have all normal lab results after
thyroidectomy
and doseing? Thanks in advance.

Result of Endo visit
" Only those with a complete
thyroidectomy
." (so why didn't they die?) As a result of this appointment, and some placatory noises from me, he did agree to increase T3 to 20mcg per day and reduce his previous Levo dose from 100mcg to 50mcg, and at least did not kick us into touch.

Should I remove my thyroid (total thyroidectomy)?
My new doctor strictly recommended me to remove my hashi's thyroid. There's not many left already. I'm suffering almost 30 years from my thyroid disfunction. Please share with me your experience. Is it really beneficial?

Looking for help and guidance on starting T3 only
The only treatment the NHS has iffered me is total
thyroidectomy
which I have not had. The PD started me on 30mg (divided by 2 doses) and told me to increase by 15mg every two weeks, until symptoms improved. Currently, I take 75mg metavive (equiv to 1 1/4 grain).

Total thyroidectomy too low TSH normal T4
Total
thyroidectomy
10 years ago, also have Rheumatoid Arthritis. Have been suffering will bad fatigue. My GP has decided as TSH 0.14 too low and T4 17 so ok, to reduce my Levothyroxine. 100mcg 3 days, 75mcg 4 days a week. This seems far too low.

Thyroidectomy and suppressed TSH
I had a full
thyroidectomy
in 2010, ( I had multiple thyroid nodules and the surgeon made out it was a simple proceedure and I'd just need to take a hormone replacement daily. If I'd educated myself before the op rather than after i might have been a bit more cautious!)

Thyroidectomy

What Happens if I Take Levothyroxine with Adrenal Problems?
I am also taking Levothyroxine 150mg due to
Thyroidectomy
in 2000. How does that work and shall I stop taking Levothyroxine till I fix the problem of the Adrenal Gland? Can I have some help on the subject?

Thyroid problems, cancer?
At this point, and after many tests, I stand a good chance of having my ct show cancer of my thyroid, and I just wanted to see if any one has had thyroid cancer, or a
thyroidectomy
. I am kinda worried about the whole surgery thing, and cancer. Thank you, Claudia
