Welcome to the forum, Davis62.

Your TSH is high because you are under medicated. Skipping doses is NOT okay, you need to take Synthroid daily. The goal of Levothyroxine is to restore patients to euthyroid status and for most people that will be when TSH is 1.0 or lower with FT4 in the upper range. Graves does not go away after thyroidectomy and may sometimes go on to attack other organs, particularly the eyes (thyroid eye disease). Keeping your TSH <1.0 may help you avoid developing TED.

Davis62,

Hashimoto's oftens disappears after thyroidectomy but Graves doesn't.

NDT like Armour and NatureThroid are alternatives to Synthroid but they won't improve poor immunity. If you feel well on Synthroid I wouldn't change.

If you've had vitamin and mineral blood tests which show low levels you can supplement to improve levels. Post the results and ranges and I'll take a look. Vitamin C is good for the immune system.
