So following on from GP, sneaky GP posts following months of feeling rubbish, stressed, angry, anxiety through the roof, mood so low keep randomly crying . Gluten or dairy free?
Hi everyone. I have posted previously about raised antibodies (Anti-TG 347 range <115, and Anti-TPO 53.6 range <34) Now having got my head around this, I can considering a gluten free diet to try to reduce the inflammation. My thyroid appears to be working normally - most recent results with a 9am

Not sure if anyone has posted already about this, but the doctor’s kitchen has a recent episode on the thyroid with Dr Amy Gajjar. Has anyone read her book “Slow Butterfly”? https://thedoctorskitchen.com/podcasts/188-healing-your-thyroid-with-dr-amy-gajjar I’m only halfway through the episode but so

Low TSH
Background I have a lifelong hereditary condition known as FAP. Because of this I have had several surgeries to remove my whole colon and rectum. In 2009 I had surgery to create what is called a J pouch, which is made from approximately the last 40cm of terminal ileum. Current issues. Recent blood

TPO Antibodies & Fertility Problems
Hello, just wondered peoples thoughts or experiences? I have never been diagnosed with a thyroid issue but after near 2 years of TTC and 2 miscarriages I do wonder if things could be better in the TSH/TPO antibody side of things. My GP has never shown a concern with it I have basically had to beg her

Are some private endos prescribing NDT so they can keep you as a private patient?!
Corresponding with a member on here today I found in writing a brief description of my private treatment that I am beginning to question some Endo’s motivation for trialling NDT first rather than Liothyronine. Is it maybe a cynical plan to keep you private as NDT is not available on the NHS whereas Liothyronine

Goitre and antibodies but bloods all fine
Hi, I developed a fairly big lump in my neck in July 23. Did the 2 week wait thing and had an ultrasound and saw an ENT consultant. They diagnosed a thyroid nodule and said it looked normal with no need for FNA. Consultant asked for endo to see me and I am still waiting for this or any acknowledgment

Newbie - Is this Normal? Should I have Treatment?
Good morning! I'm a newbie here and i'm just unsure as to whether I should accept what my GP is telling me and put up with it or go private. A bit of history - I'm 46, female, overall good health historically but diagnosed with Premature Ovarian Deficiency (Early menopause) in my early thirties.

Hypothyroid & bone/liver bloods
Does being hypo affect your liver and bones blood work? If so, how? (High or low?) I am noticing that when I take thyroid medication it makes some bone/liver bloods abnormal (see below) Is that indicative of being over medicated? When I stop the medication my TSH sky rockets but my other levels normalise

Help interpreting my test results
Hi. I have been struggling with long covid that’s better now but just did a recent lab and wondering if it looks ok. I still have some lingering symptoms like temple pressure on one side and joint pain, and vertigo. My TSh w/reflex to Free T4 went down a bit from 1.08 in Dec to .85 currently. My SGOT

Low TSH
I had a phone call on Friday asking me to come to an Endo appointment this Monday - unusual! It is a year since my last appointment but I suspect my endo has taken fright at my low TSH and will want to discuss stopping my prescription. My latest results were TSH 0.02 (0.35-4.94) Ft4 11.4 (9-19.1)

Followed advice here, now need help with understanding results
Hi, I’ve learned more here in the last year or so than I’ve ever learned from doctors. I’ve also come to know that I’ve probably been on too low of a Synthroid dosage for far too long. I am hypothyroid with Hashimoto’s since 2005 or 2006. I had a goiter on my parathyroid and had surgery to remove
