Not sure if anyone has posted already about this, but the doctor’s kitchen has a recent episode on the thyroid with Dr Amy Gajjar. Has anyone read her book “Slow Butterfly”?
hi DaisyTed - I just finished it last night! I also listened to that podcast.
Amy’s book is definitely worth reading - she’s very holistic so goes into detail about lots of lifestyle changes and practices we can make to support thyroid healing rather than just relying on medication to do the job.
that sounds great, thank-you for the feedback! I have nearly bought a few different books on thyroid health but my hypothyroid brain can’t cope with anything too medical/technical!!
I know - there is so much information out there to wade through. I also recommend you listen to Dr Mindy Peltz - I think she is pretty fabulous and very easy to follow. You can find her podcast - The Resetters on Spotify etc and she has uploaded loads of videos on You Tube. She's not a thyroid expert per se but she has gone into it in some depth. Hope it helps 😊
