1st ever vitamin tests - newly hypo
I’ve followed your excellent advice and got my vitamins tested and was wondering if I could please have some advise on these results. Starting Levo dose 75 (48kg) As a reminder I was diagnosed hypo 1 month ago. Since starting Levo have been muscle and joint pain with acid reflux. Scalloped tongue

kalms supplements
does anyone know if kalms herbal tablets affect Levothyroxine/thyroid? I am thinking of trying them to help with my severe anxiety but thyroid already all over the place 😞 Petrified of trying another anti depressant due to them making me feel so much worse when I’ve tried them this year.

Help with blood test results, please
Just received my blood test results as have been feeling really rubbish lately and cannot lose a single 1lb - in fact it just keeps creeping on. I am exhausted from trying and getting nowhere. And also just generally exhausted! :) Could do with your expertise please: TSH 5.13 miu/L (0.27-4.2) FT4

re: newbie
hello all. I am 39 year old mother to 3 children. I have found this group after looking for somewhere to purchase NDT, after having read the stop this thyroid madness book. i had a routine blood test back in july, due to complaints of fatigue/weight not budging and cold toes and hands. To my disbelief

Any acacia free Levo?
Hi, I’ve been looking at the ingredients of levothyroxine for different brands and can’t find any without acacia added. Does anyone know of any available in the U.K.? Thanks

no help🥺
Recently raised Levothyroxine to 75mcg per day, from 50mcg. Still tired, can’t exercise. Only keep my job as I work from home, which is going to change soon and I need help. Been like this since 2014 and always told tests normal NFA. Paid for my own tests and found T4 low. Finally after years of trying

Osteoporosis and Levothyroxine
My osteopenia has become osteoporosis! I have been supplementing with calcium and Vit D3/K2 for years. I have to make a routine GP appointment, no doubt that will take weeks. My TSH has always been on the low suppressed side. Last test results TSH 0.05 (0.27 - 4.20) T4 21.2 (11.0

Insomnia - Could nightime liothyronine exacerbate it?
Hi, I've just read: https://healthunlocked.com/thyroiduk/posts/148510755/liothyronine-brands-and-insomnia. As ever the answer seems to be "it depends"! Some better on or off lio, some better at bedtime or on waking, etc. My sleep pattern is (roughly) one half-decent sleep followed by an utterly awful

very long story…. Need support.
Since a young age, I have had hyperthyroidism. I was treated with carbimazole for years and in 2021 I had radioactive therapy (a radioactive table) for my thyroid. This ended up killing it and now I am on level thyroxine. When I first got diagnosed with hypothyroidism, I believe my TSH was 60-ISH. Since

Nausea on Levothyroxine
Has anybody felt more nauseous in general after beginning Levo. I’m definitely feeling this way generally..I’m taking kefir etc that’s helping a bit but it’s not getting rid of it. It’s not a major thing I’m wondering if taking the Levo with food may help..I know this may affect absorption but could

subclinical - do I need levo?
I have been borderline Subclinical hypothyroidism for around 10 years. The GP put me on levothyroxine 2013, I took a low dose for a month or two but couldn’t tolerate it (palpitations), so I stopped. I was referred to Endo who did a check on my antibodies - was clear. Every year, my tsh was either just

T4 and T3 optimal 3 hours after thyroid meds, I feel great, but suppressed TSH is throwing a spanner in the works.
Hi, these are my recent results taken exactly 3 hours after I had taken my thyroid meds. (Normally, I wouldn't take my thyroid meds the morning of a thyroid function test, but my functional health doctor wanted to see whether I was overmedicating, worries about bone health....) I take 75mcg Levo and
