Napalm nightmares & re-living Vietnam
I woke up screaming last night! In my dreams I relived being bayoneted in my color bone. I relive the look on the VC's face as my bayonet sliced across his stomach pouring his entrails out, then smashing his brains out with the butt of my rifle. I hate what the army made of me, at times when in Tiger

Prazosin
Has anybody on here taken prazosin for anxiety and sleep. I start taking it at bedtime tonight. I was taking clonidine but I still wasn’t sleeping good. I have tried different medicine at bedtime but nothing has seemed to work.

Nightmares
Hey guys..Wondering if anyone alse on here has nightmares from PTSD. My Dr. prescribed a new medicine to me about 6 months ago, and it works very well. No more nightmares, or waking up soaked with sweat. Hoping this might help someone..It's called Prazosin, and it's been a miracle for me!

New to this Forum, Mom of 4 Boys & my 12yo is HFASD & ADHD I’m so curious about finding him the safest CBD oil...
So as I stated I want to get my baby on a more natural path as opposed to the 5-6 meds he is currently taking...of which we still have our daily challenges! Haloperidol, Amantadine, Prazosin, Ritalin & Concerta(aka extended release Ritalin) he also takes Zyrtec and Montukast daily for his seasons allergies

RLS, Prazosin and other interesting things
Good morning People This is for Jan, who alerted me to this drug, but it is also of interest to all. Prazosin, called Pratsiol where I am, is a blood-pressure medication. Not often used. By some happy accident, it was found, by doctors at a Veterans Hospital in the USA, that Prazosin helped Iraq vets

BPH, retrograde ejaculation and mental health (newbie post)
Hi guys, this is my first post. I was diagnosed with benign prostatic hypersplasia last year and have been on several treatments since then, in an attempt to avoid their respective side effects. At the moment I'm on a combination of finasteride and prazosin, with a view to phasing out the prazosin once

Prazosin with Docetaxel?
New Australian cell study below [1]. Looks like Prazosin may increase Docetaxel-induced toxicity. "Some quinazoline-based alpha1-adrenoceptor (ADR) antagonists have previously been shown to have cytotoxic actions in PCa cells, but there is no research into their effects on docetaxel-induced toxicity.

Prazosin experiences for nightmares.
So I spoke with my specialistfriday about the nightmares I'm having frequently as a result of my anxiety and the meds I'm on. She prescribed me prazosin for it and said it was studied by the VA and found to help with them. Everything in the packet that came with the pills though said it was just a blood

Experience with prazosin?
I have nightmares as part of my PTSD. I read about prazosin a medication that supposedly takes away nightmares and helps you to sleep. I asked the doctor to prescribe it and he did. I tried it for the first time last night and had a great night! Should I be taking this or do EMDR or something else to

Not been on here for a while as no progress
In spite of gp requesting an urgent follow up appointment with rheumatologist still having to wait till mid October after a wait of 6 months. GP has been unable to get results for my cardio and lung function tests which were done in April. Has been most frustrating as my symptoms have become worse.
