What day is FET usually done?
I only have a few days to wait as I have my day 10 scan on Friday 18th March but I also have a big exam due the following week Thursday 24th March. So I am trying to figure out roughly how long after the day 10 scan and the start of the progesterone (I am presuming that will start the day after the

We transferred one embryo. To early to test??
Thank you for the advice regarding 1 or 2 embryos to be transferred. We chose to go with 1 in the end by advice from the clinic and reading your posts. This is our second FET and I must say I feel the same as last time no symptoms or anything. Apart from yesterday I had horrendous back pain and the

*Sensitive* - 5th transfer update
Hi all I've been a little quiet on here with my own updates as I have been wrapping my mental health in cotton wool a little after the rollercoaster of our last transfer attempts and miscarriage last year. But I just wanted to share some good news (as I don't often get to!). I'm also really sorry if

Starting stims today - anyone want to be my cycle buddy?
My quest for sibling continues after a failed FET last week, I'm starting with a fresh short protocol cycle with my first injection tonight. It's been 3 years since I did a fresh cycle so I feel a bit out of practice and it was a little depressing that my AFC had more than halved since my last cycle

Back to the grind
Hi Everyone, This time last year I was waiting to start my Stims for my first round of IVF. If someone had told me back then, that I would have had a baby by now which I have had to spend my savings on a headstone for, I would have never gone through with those injections. But here I am. With 3 embryos

Update on next steps
Hi everyone I thought Id give you a quick update since my last post. My consultant thinks the implementation failure was due to quality of Embroy even though they graded is top quality 4AA. He has suggested I do another cycle to bank more eggs due to my age. He also suggested I do the ERA tests when

*sensitive* 10dp5dt - BFP - advice on how to deal with the anxiety?
Hello to all the amazing ladies. So first of all I want to say that I don’t want to sound ungrateful about a BFP at all because we are excited but ooh boy the other feelings… So I caved and tested early from 8dp because I had a chemical last FET and wouldn’t want to ‘miss’ it. See image for the tests

Do you lower your dose of estrogen (progynova) after FET?
For an FET - I’ve always continued on the same does of estrogen (progynova) from my first scan until pregnancy test. I’ve read a couple of blogs that suggest estrogen dose is lowered after transfer? Does anyone do that? Yes/no? Thanks ❤️

Advice - visiting friend with new baby
Hi all, I was just hoping for a bit of advice here. I’m off to visit a really good friend today who had a baby last week and really struggling with my emotions about it. I’m currently prepping for a medicated FET cycle and on the oestrogen portion of events and just feeling a bit vulnerable. It’s been

Stopping Progesterone
Hello, I have had a fresh embryo transfer and I was told to stop taking progesterone pessaries on the day of my pregnancy test whether it is a BFP or BFN. Everything else I read says to continue taking progesterone for up to 12 weeks of pregnancy. I only have enough pessaries for a few days post testing

has anybody tried prebiotics with success
I have been under a lot of stress lately and my stomach aches are returning. I don't have family-they were horrible anyways and holidays really do me in. I would often spend holidays with a neighbor but she died of lung cancer in September. I really thought the Geodon had solved the problem except

Different dose Gonal F vs Menopur
Looking for experiences from ladies who have tried both. My previous cycles have all been Menopur, however we used Gonal F in a very low dose to help my lining on a FET and I recruited a lot of follicles more than I ever did on Menopur. My new cycle I’m going to be doing Gonal F for the first few days

FET - 1 or 2 embryos?
I am starting round 2 of treatment, this time FET next month. I just wanted to ask for some own experiences and advice with choosing transfer of 1 or 2 embryos. 1 being 4bc and 2nd 3bc. Of course they advice 1 however just wanted to know experiences and outcomes before we 100% decide! Thank you all

8th roll of the dice - what would you do?
We are on the quest for a sibling, we have had 3 fresh cycles and 4 FETs so far which brought us on MMC and our beautiful son. We have a final 4CC embryo in the freezer and are trying to decide whether to do a FET or go for a new fresh cycle. I'm 34. Realistically, we have only a 30% chance of success

Embryos frozen!
Hi everyone! I had my eggs retrieved last week. 18 retrieved with 16 fertilizing successfully :) We waited 5 really long days. The embryologist called to tell me 7 had developed but were ‘compacting’ more slowly than he’d like to see. He said he was surprised because I’m so ‘young’ (also not that young

Diet before FET
My first FET transfer I followed an anti inflammatory diet for 6 months which resulted in a positive. My second round is coming up and I haven’t been as restrict as before. Has anyone still been successful without a fairly healthy diet?
