Help with latest blood test results and NDT dose please
Hello, long story short... I've had hypothyroidism for around 14 years now, I've had a mixture during those years of either levothyroxine - GP never prescribed the right dose and I had reactions to it, so started buying NDT and did well, until covid hit and I found it difficult to get it. My latest

Armour NDT, possible problems
I’m currently taking Armour NDT 1 grain in the morning and 3/4s in the afternoon. My bloods are really good and my symptoms have definitely improved. However, I’ve been having some problems such as feeling nauseous off and on through the day and also the odd day where my bowels are really loose and

Gleason Score 5+5
My gleason score is 5+5 =10. I watched Dr.Scholtz's talk who mentioned 5+5 case is rare and I happened to be one of them. My problems are like a full truck and wonder if that is the reason why my PSA remains above 7 after RP. Cancerous cell seems have spread to lymphnodes as i heard it prodcues PSA

Xtandi (enzalutamide) +ADT slows metastases in recurrent men
We recently saw that ADT+Erleada (apalutamide) slows progression compared to ADT alone. https://www.prostatecancer.news/2022/09/short-term-androgen-annihilation-in-non.html Now we have proof that ADT+Xtandi (enzalutamide) slows the appearance of metastases and delays castration resistance in recurrent

A New Direction
After seven years of fighting this disease with chemo, radiation, ADT, and abiraterone, I suffer from fatigue, nerve damage and paralysis and nerve pain in my left foot from radiation treatment, as well as depression, and a constant feeling of uncertainty. However, I am now free to let go of the life

Back on ADT
Restarted ADT 3/15/23 with my Lupron shot followed quickly with Xtandi 160mg daily. My PSA peaked to 3.36 on 3/7/23 and then 4/3/23 1.65 5/1/23 .34 So hoping the trend continues downward. Not sure if a slow or quick drop is better on recurrence. My RO said, when asked, "lower is better". Its getting

I just began the Eclipse Clinical Trial and will be posting my experiences here. Please share yours too.
I live in Southern California, but applied for acceptance into the Eclipse Trial in Miami Florida. The criteria was that I had to be castrate resistant and failed at first generation ADT, as well as second generation ADT. Plus that I had to have a minimum PSA of 2.0 with two consecutive rises one week

What's normal with private consultations and NHS records?
My question is:- If one sees a consultant doctor privately, who then prescribes medication and informs the patient's GP of what he has prescribed, is it usual for that information to be added to the patient's medical record? I have been consulting a private endocrinologist who has been helping me to

Rising PSA...again..
In December 2017 I was diagnosed with prostate cancer after a biopsy. I ignored the symptoms for many years and it cost me. In February 2018 I had surgery to remove my prostate hoping that would cure me, PSA never went to 0. By December 2019 I was alarmed enough to start ADT with Elegard and in February

Osteoporosis and HRT
I was diagnosed 3 years ago with osteopenia which has now progressed to osteoporosis, though frankly my recent DEXA report is so unclear that I'm waiting for word from my doctor to interpret it. My question is about hormone replacement and osteoporosis. I've been listening to podcasts with Dr. Felice

Test Results
Hi Everyone I would be grateful for any comments about my recent test results. I’m confused. Briefly I have been hypothyroid for 17 years, I was on Levo but for the last 10 years I have been taking NDT which has been great. I’ve received a text saying I must see the doctor, they say I’m over

When to start ADT, Salvage radiation or both for BCR after PSMA Petscan shows nothing?
Post RRP in 2009 and now having BCR with PSA rising to .20 over the last couple years, I was offered and opted for a PSMA Petscan to see if there was an identifiable spot of recurrence that could be treated early. The PSMA scan came back with no indication of the PSA source, so now I am wondering about

Testosterone & RLS
I was aware of mild RLS from about age 10 nearly 62 years ago. Occasionally, I could control it by autosuggestion. Dramatically, this RLS stopped when I had reached puberty, 3 years later. It emerged 62 years later, immediately radiotherapy and hormone therapy for prostrate cancer commenced in 2012
