Hi, I’ve been fighting mbc now for almost 12 years. I can’t even tell you how many treatments I’ve been on. So now it taxol for 12 weeks. Once a week and 4th week off. I’ve read most of the posts on here relating to taxol and I appreciate all the information. I guess I’m just looking for a 👍 from everyone. I always say “Just another mountain to climb!!” Anyway thanks for listening. I rely on everyone here. You are all a blessing❣️
The best

thank you for sharing Lori, 12 years is a long time and you are an inspiration. I hope the current regime is not too bad and that you continue to thrive. ❤️🙏🏾❤️
WoW, 12 years , that’s amazing , you have definitely climbed some mountains !!!, Thankyou for sharing this with us , you are an inspiration to us all , You are also a blessing 👍 ❤️
Good luck Lori. I found Paclitaxel/Taxol pretty manageable for 18 sessions. Unfortunately I then had progression but lots of people get much longer or do better x
I have hit a bump too. My femour broke because of cancer eating away at it. I have to have a bit of radiation. I am walking really well with a walker or cane and even some on my own. Hopefully a smooth stretch now. We are all in this together 🙏💕
It is so helpful to hear from those of you living well over the statistics we always read about. It gives me hope… so thank you.
I pray the next treatment option is tolerable and is also effective for a very long time. Sending you hugs and support from one MBC “sister” to another. 🩷🩵💚
I tolerated Taxol well. Had 12 weekly infusions, didn't lose my hair, it only thinned. Unfortunately it didn't work for me and I had progression, liver mets got much worse. Wishing you all the best and I hope it works well for you.
12 years!! That’s inspirational for the rest of us and bodes well for your body’s ability to fight this illness. All the best with your next treatment ♥️
Hope your next treatment works well for you withnot too many side effects. 12 years is good . Although I can't imagine how hard it has been for you at times. Good luck xx
