Taxol

Well , I had progression on my

Liver and my onc wants to put me on Taxol for 3-4 months. I was told I could cold cap.

I can also choose Trucap / Faslodex .

I’ve been on Ibrance , Piqray, Enhertu and Kisqali . I don’t know why but Taxol sounds terrifying

out of curiosity why just three months? I’m so sorry to hear this. Prayers that it will knock it right back.

I’m on the Truqap FB board and to be honest it doesn’t seem to be working for a lot of people. But that’s not a scientific way to gather data. Could you do the taxol to knock it back then try truqap?

What about Trodelvy? Or Xeloda? I had a great run on that for just over a year …

thank you so much PB ! She wants to put me on it to kick back the tumor load in the liver before goi g back to an oral like Trucap. I joined the Trucap FB group because I thought that would be a natural path and I agree … it seems to last 4-6 month.

When you get on Taxol are you on it indefinitely?

Not sure about Taxol. Xeloda is indefinite —until it stops working. Have you asked about any radiation type treatments for the liver? I looked into Y90 but the radiologist said to let systemic treatments work first. I’ve heard of other women having success with them.

Three months will go by quickly. So hopefully you’ll be back on an oral treatment soon.
