Intermittent chest pain after beta blocker withdrawal

After my GP decided to wean/take me off a beta blocker (Propanalol 10mg) which I was only on for a month (for tachycardia and anxiety) I suffered with high BP and palpitations. I have been back on them for a couple of weeks but I am left with a high diastolic BP (90s) and high pulse. I have frequent intermittent chest pains which I have when sitting still or walking. A GP said it was beta blocker withdrawal but it's been a month now since I have resumed them and I feel I have developed some kind of angina or other heart condition. Feel like I'm waiting for a heart attack/heart failure. Not due to see an NHS cardiologist til June so might ask for two week RACP app. I had a stress echo two weeks ago which was normal. The vein in my neck is raised and I feel heaviness on the neck. Feel like arteries have changed- I had a CT scan 3 years ago which showed some mild atheroma but had no symptoms and there were no blockages. Anybody have any ideas?
