Af and Tachycardia...Joy!!
So...went into AF Friday night which turned to
Tachycardia
reading on the Kardia of 126bpm and had been constantly at that since. Im concerned as never had a high tachy reading before, always af or unclassified( which is flutter) I feel ok just stressed and worried as i always am.

A question for SLOW AF & Ablations
Question
: From reading posts, most AF on here seems to be flutter or
tachycardia
. I can kind of understand how burning out pathways (Ablation) would reduce the ‘dodgy’ messages reaching the heart and therefore reduce b.p.m.

Emotional response to an ICD
This was in response to an instance of ventricular
tachycardia
that showed up in a regular pacemaker clinic check. I'm learning to partner with this new device but have found myself quite anxious, especially at night.

Insomnia, burning sensation and frequent urination
Hi I've been diagnosed with Atrial
Tachycardia
. Over the last few nights persistent heart palpitations accompanied by a mild burning/stinging sensation across my upper chest are followed by needing to urinate 5 times a night. These all prevent me from sleeping. I'm on 2.5 of Bisoprolol twice day.

Continuous Dropped Beats
I have a history of
tachycardia
and palpitations (10 years!). I’ve had several tests- ECGs, holter tapes, echos and nothing has ever come up as being wrong. I gave birth 1 month ago and since giving birth my pulse has actually been much better a lot of the time. However something feels weird.

Tachycardia post 8 week ablation
Today I had
Tachycardia
for 5 minutes, is this normal. I started Amoxicillin 500mg today for a tooth infection, could this Med be the reason?

Link between AF ablation and sinus tachycardia
The main issue is sinus
tachycardia
, one day in a week I started to have my heartbeat up to 90, then 100 then 110 at rest. It is not as high as some of you but to me it is disturbing.

I’m new here. SVT and a Dancer!
I’ve just been diagnosed with SVT and atrial
tachycardia
. I was trialled on propranolol, which dropped my BP too low and exacerbated my asthma. Then diltiazem 90mg which again dropped the BP too low making me feel really unwell. Then dose reduced to 30mg which was just about tolerable.

SVT & sleep disturbance
Hi - I’ve been having a great deal of difficulty sleeping with my SVT episodes (I have atrial
tachycardia
) - I had four short episodes of racing heart last night between 11PM & 3AM. I couldn’t sleep. What do people do after a night episode - is it best to simply get up?

Problem with heart monitor
Something showed up called broad complex
tachycardia
I think she said but they are trying to work out if it was a true recording or my real rhythm. I am back Wednesday for another one. I am super worried now as not only for myself to think about but my little girl who is on the way.

POST ABLATION UPDATE
The higher the dose of bisoprolol the more likely any atrial
tachycardia
would morph into Aflutter (but nowhere near as bad as the Flecainide Aflutter).

Tapering from 2.5mg pred.
About 6 weeks later I chose to have a ventricular
tachycardia
ablation which has been very successful. I am now keen to reduce my prednisolone dose and wonder if anyone reading this can suggest a tapering plan I could use.

Atrial Tachycardia need some advice
I have atrial
tachycardia
. I need some relief from the constant banging/throbbing sensation in my chest. This happens all day whether I am sitting or lying down and despite my pulse rate being normal which I dont get. All tests on heart came back normal.

Side effect
Tachycardia
. Had Defib implant 8 yrs ago. Never went off. No dr. wants to put in three lead pace maker. Went off amiodarone and swelling in legs and feet stopped. Also had swelling in throat and tongue. Do pace makers help stop Afib/vent

?

Pacemaker in 30s?
The ablation lasted for what felt like an eternity and then suddenly I went into ventricular
tachycardia
with a heart rate over 300 BPM. They had to stop the procedure. I was told my PVCs were coming from both inside and outside of my heart.

Propafenone/Rythmol and stopping heart beats
An hour later it said
Tachycardia
122 bpm. What? Ive never had this before. My hubby called my doc and my doc said it's the med is attempting to stop the afib and it's not unusual for "atrial flutter" to appear. Just take the diltizan to slow the rate down.
