Pulmonary Vein Thrombosis/Stenosis
Hello, I recently had my first ablation for atrial
tachycardia
/AFib and a few days later became unwell and was diagnosed with pulmonary vein thrombosis/stenosis. I've been told that it's a rare complication that can occur from ablation (and is especially rare in someone my age - 25).

Tachycardia
My husband was waiting for a procedure at our hospital when his heart went into
tachycardia
. He didn’t have the investigation but came straight home. When do we seek help when his bpm is 107 ? I’m very frightened

I'm new here
my first serious event happened in September 2020 when
tachycardia
and AF set in and wouldn’t budge. From A&E I was admitted and monitored overnight and discharged with a prescription of 5mg bisoprolol.

Anti-arrhythmic drugs after ablation
But, now , back on Propafenone 150 x 2 , I am getting a high heart rate of 90 - 100 b.p.m. or
tachycardia
up to 110 b.p.m.. Also, my usual high blood pressure is much lower since this AF attack. I do have a phone consultation with my EP on Monday.

Questions to ask the cardiologist
I had bypass surgery two years ago but have recently being getting strong palpitations and
tachycardia
. I’m keen to get the most out of my appointment so how should I prepare and what questions should I be asking? Thank you all for your help.

Does anyone understand spectral analysis or other 24 hr ecg results?
I also had 9 bradycardias, 3 relative pauses, 3 St's (sinus
tachycardia
?), and 29 svpb's over the 24 hours. Can anyone comment if these are quite normal events? I have read that up to a 100 svpb's is within acceptable range so hoping tge rest of these results are okay too, anyone have an idea?

Confused after appointment with EP
I asked him what the rhythm was and he said it was difficult to know but that it was either SVT or ventricular
tachycardia
but that it wasn’t life threatening since it only lasted for 8 seconds. He said that in a young person with a healthy heart it’s okay.

Fast heartrate
Due to ecg showing
tachycardia
I was given a 24 monitor at the start of the month. It showed a few skipped beats and range of 65 to 145. This was without any exercise at all taking place. All I know so far is the rhythm was normal so I'm on a waiting list now for cardiologist.

Back in AF after ablation
Been a success apart from one
tachycardia
ep coming off the meds. Last night, I was feeling light headed at the gym doing deadlifts with a PT (thought nothing of it, other than strenuous exercise).

Inappropriate pacing
Received letter saying CRT-D show sinus
tachycardia
of 170 bpm leading to three inappropriate antitachycardia pacing sequences. Now my nebivolol is being upped to 5mg and started on Ivabaradine. Anyone give me more insight into what it means?

Tachycardia causes AF?
According to this hypothesis, once atrial fibrillation is established, the apparently random propagation of multiple simultaneous wavelets of reentrant activity within the atrial myocardial mass11 12would mean that any evidence of an underlying focal or regular
tachycardia
involving the atria might tend

Ventricular Tachycardia/Junctional Tachycardia & Ramipril Heart Rate 217 today
That rhythm 'Ventricular
Tachycardia
/Junctional
Tachycardia
' has not just increased in occurence, but in rate as well. It has got worse since being on Ramipril (I don't have high BP) for my heart muscle.
