I'm not really sure whats going on with me as of yet. Due to ecg showing tachycardia I was given a 24 monitor at the start of the month. It showed a few skipped beats and range of 65 to 145. This was without any exercise at all taking place. All I know so far is the rhythm was normal so I'm on a waiting list now for cardiologist. Has anyone any similar experiences?
Thanks

I've just had results of 24 hrs monitor with similar results. I have a follow up with h.f. nurse in a couple of weeks. I was put on dioxin by the cardiologist but the monitor showed my heart dropping too low when doing nothing so I was phoned at home and told to stop taking them immediately by H. So it seems its going to be a lot of tablet tweaking for me. I hope yours is simpler. I would7 like a pacemaker but im told its not the answer.
I had a very similar experience five years ago, but with tweaking of medication I’m on a very even keel.
However, your post brought to mind the early days when I was on a monitor for 48 hours and the result was sent to my GP. I had a particularly fast hub at 3AM, and the doctor looked over his glasses and said, “What on earth were you doing then?” I had been sleeping, but his inference was so obvious that I blushed furiously in spite of attempts to appear normal 🤣🤣🤣🤣
😂😂😂😂😂 that made me laugh 😂😂😂I am not currently on any meds, im 35 with no family history of any heart issues, ive recently quit smoking and don't really drink alcohol. I am about a stone and a half over weight which I'm now working on, so diet has massively improved. Exercise wise I've started back walking but am afraid to do anything more as my heart rate flies up with walking!
