Starting synthroid dose
The doctor has prescribed
synthroid
- 88 mcg. I am having cognitive/memory issues as well. Is the dose right-not too high or too low? Sorry for the naive question but I am a little unsure as my GP appeared to be a little inexperienced. Also how much time does it take for the symptoms to clear up?

Help me please!
Was on
synthroid
before then went to this bc of joint pain. So, thyroid went nuts after surgery on my foot in March and I was thrown on a bunch of diff meds. Now I'm back on WP thyroid. My problem: not sure I can handle the t3 in it. I keep shaking. TSH is 6.3, t4 0.98, t3 4.1.

Advice please
I either try to ask dr for 75
synthroid
daily instead of alternating 50/75 every other day or i ask for 2 pills of cytomel a day to take one in the afternoon. What do you all think? And if i did the 2nd pill of cytomel a day do i need to reduce the
synthroid
?

Do any of you hexperience allergic type reactions to makeup?
I have since changed diet and a lot of other things including a change in dosage of
Synthroid
and added T3 but after an entire year of no makeup I tried yesterday to just put a tiny bit of hypoallergenic mascara on and by late afternoon my eyes were itching like crazy.

Hi all, After my Total thyroidcetomy, I am on generic levothyroxine 200mcg. I feel dreadful and have put on 2 stone/10 kg in a few months. I'm tired all the time, depressed and have brain fog. I recently spoke to my endocrinologist but he refuses any other treatment apart from Levo. He only reduced

I'm struggling with a form of autoimmune hypothyroid disorder and I can't gain any weight, what is wrong with me?
Oh yeah and I used to take the thyroid medication which at a low dose 25 cut in half
synthroid
my thyroid would switch because of sensitivity from hypo to hyper I was diagnosed at 16. I didn't stop completely taking the medication till I was 19.

Battle with Doctors ..and Hypo problems
He thinks I may be the exception and have a problem with a 5.8 TSH and wants to give me
Synthroid
. I am planning to go to another doctor. Because the more books and research I read. This is not right. My tsh is high.. my free t3 is low. it can be a conversion of T4 to T3 problem.

Please help: Need help on which direction to take; post has labs.
At that time I had switched from Tirosint to 175 mcg of
Synthroid
only. The higher my dose of T4 alone, I would feel ...ok. My FT4 was high but over six weeks it had dropped to the middle/high-low of the range and my FT3 was actually doing pretty well comparatively speaking.

I think I'm allergic to Synthroid ... Not sure what to do next
She wouldn't agree to changing the dose, but agreed that I may be having a reaction to
Synthroid
so gave me a prescription stating that it wasn't to be
Synthroid
to see if that improved things.
