B12 level too high (not supplementing)
[Currently taking: 50-mcg
Synthroid
/ 15-mcg Liothyronine] My doctor's office called and said my levels were fine, but why would my B12 level be high if I am not taking B12 supplements? And shouldn't I have a higher level of Vitamin D?

Lost
I emailed her office and suggested I lower from 88 to 75 of
synthroid
and add my 5 mcg of cytomel back in. I just want suggestions since it seems I'm the one suggesting things and she always say ok. This can be good and bad. Should I keep just taking T4 only or try lower t4 and add back in cytomel

Switched over to NP Thyroid from Synthroid
I was previously on 112 mcg
Synthroid
. The GP is going to retest in 4 weeks. From what I have been reading seems kinda low starting dose. Is 30 mg too low to start off with after being on 112 mcg
Synthroid
? Or is this normal switching from synthetic to NDT to start low.

Synthroid levels and Urso
I never had to change
Synthroid
dosage. and then after 6 months on Urso I've had to increase dosage 3 times. GP says she doesn't find any interaction between Urso and
Synthroid
. Anyone else experience this? And I'm truly grateful for finding this forum- a real lifeline.

Dr. stopping my T3 Only prescription and forcing a referral to endocrinologist!
The irony is my Mother is who has always been on T4
synthroid
treatment-now has both osteoporosis and atrial fibrillation!!! Isn't the Hashimotos that causes all these problems and not necessarily the medicines? I am back to the viscious cycle of finding a Dr to support me.

My country is out of NDT.
My doctor is suggesting thyroxine and
synthroid
. This terrifies me!! I'm wondering if anybody could advise me, or share what I should expect, or even how to transition. I medicate myself, my doctor keeps my t3 very low. Just barely over the normal line. Because my tSH is low in her opinion.

Nothing Works! Please Help
A horrible doctor (new bc I had moved) put me on
synthroid
which was a period I do not like to discuss as I could not even get out of bed most days, clearly I do not convert well. I gained 30 lbs in 3 months, worst times of my life.

After reacting to mylan levo and
synthroid
for over a year, was given tirosint. For the last - almost year- all the getting sick/weird stuff has stopped.

Recent Lab Results: TSH improves, T4 and T3 at standstill.
Hi. 3 months ago I was put on 25mg
Synthroid
and after 6 weeks I upped the dosage to 50 mg. These are the results of my recent lab after being on 50mg for 6 weeks. I will compare them with previous results.

High TSH before IVF?
I have been put on 112 mcg of
synthroid
. My ivf treatment starts in 2 weeks. I'm really scared of a miscarriage ☹️ I've been through 3 miscarriages and mostly because of me being hypothyroid.

Newbie from NZ
She put me on 25 mcg of
Synthroid
and I was retested in Mar 2016 and my TSH was 3.6 so it was determined that the meds were working. However, I'm still feeling terrible!

New Hashie
I'm about 1 mo on
synthroid
along with diet changes. In the last few years I've tried everything, no gluten, corn, alcohol, sugar, soy, peanuts, dairy, eggs, all that made me feel better at the start and eventually leaving back off again at some point.

New to Synthroid/Cytomel--bad reactions (heart,etc.)
Anyway, I found a good doctor (she costs a fortune and Medicare only pays about 3/5) and two weeks ago, after blood work came back, she prescribed
Synthroid
and Cytomel.

Normal test results, still have HYPO symptoms
I was first diagnosed with Hashimotos ( and hypothyroidism) when I was 9 years old and was on
Synthroid
( levothyroxine) for the past 20 years. About a year ago I moved to Denmark and my doctor switched me to Eltroxin because Syntrhoid was not available.
