Synthroid or Armour
I assume that it means that my T4 isn't converting into T3 and in my upcoming doctors appointment I am debating if to ask for my medication to be changed from
Synthroid
to Armour or to ask my doctor instead to just add Cytomel to my
Synthroid
.

Switched to Synthroid from levothyroxine
Hi, I just switched from 56 mcg of levothyroxine to 75 mcg of
Synthroid
. Is that too big of a jump? Could be coincidence but I slept horrible last night--felt wired and heart rate felt faster than normal. I also take 5mcg of T3 daily. Thank you.

Do I need more than Synthroid?
I'm in the USA - and still feel very tired every day, dizzy spells the doctor can't find reason for, bones ache .. had thyroid removed a year ago (was hyperthyroid/goitre) ... Could I need T3/NDT? Could I need vitamin/mineral tests? TSH1.580 uIU/mL0.450 - 4.500 uIU/mL T4, Total10.5 ug/dL4.5 - 12.0

Too soon to write off NDT??
I've been on
synthroid
and levo (which lowered my TSH but did nothing for my symptoms) and have recently gotten my doc to finally prescribe Erfa. I was so confident that it would be the answer to my prayers, but alas, its giving me a whole new crop of bad symptoms.

Never mind the product, feel the cost!
This is just an aside about
Synthroid
costs, but it does show that this product is unnecessarily expensive compared with other formulations of T4.

Does taking T3 restore hair that was lost while hypo?
What I am wondering is this: If I could convince my doctor (or find one that doesn't require convincing) to add some T3 to my
Synthroid
therapy, is there any chance some of that lost hair would grow back?

Never Trust An Endo !!!!!!
I was on 200 mcg of
Synthroid
. This endo took me off of the
Synthroid
for 2 weeks and that is when I began to get panic attacks. I brought this to the attention of the endo and she suggested antidepressants which I declined. I knew it was the lack of thyroid medication.

Latest Test Results - Desperate for Answers
I've felt quite a bit better & stronger in certain stretches but inconsistent. Some stretches I REALLY thought I was getting better. I wonder if I'm having
some kind of reaction to the medications

Cutting Cytomel and Bioavailability
I’ve been on 75mcg
Synthroid
for over a month and successfully titrated to and been on 25mcg Cytomel for now 12 days. Both taken together in the morning as single dose. In some ways I feel more hypo despite it being the equivalent of 150mcg T4, having previously taken 125mcg T4.

Please HELP! Blood test results. TSh, T3, T4
I was born without a thyroid, so Ive taken
synthroid
for the first 34 years. Not on NDt Thyoid by Erfa, I take 5 half grain pills per day (so 2.5 grains). They only have 30 MG tabs available so I have to take 5 to get the amount I need.
