They have changed my fostair 200/6 to
symbicort
200/6 so I can take it more than twice a day. They've started me on low dose long term steroid. They want to rule out bronchectasis so have requested CT scan and want me to go back for full lung function test. Back to see them in a month.

Also how long does it take for
Symbicort
to kick in? I have been getting a really dry tight throat too - could it be the
Symbicort
? Would appreciate any advice you could give. Thank you!

Worried
He inhaled
symbicort
(inhaler with local steroids) and nebulized himself. I listened to his back and heard very light wheezing on the lower left of his back. I gave him a minute of back tapping to loosen up.

99% oxygen but mucus and chest tightness
I'm asking as I don't know whether to continue with
Symbicort
SMART regime having 12 doses a day. How long does it take to get well after a viral infection? I'm used to IV antibiotics when I have a chest infection she says wearily and with a dry sense of humour!

Oh crumbs continued.....
Clearly my
Symbicort
regime had helped. She suggested I add on salbutamol three times daily for two days, then reduce to twice daily. This sort of thing I have never done before. Now I still get slightly feverish at the end of the day, and I can still cough for Britain.

Symbicort
Has anyone had side effects when taking
symbicort
? Is it just me? Or do side effects ease after a couple of weeks on the med?

Oh crumbs!
As yet I would not say it is bad enough to have to take steps, other than increasing my
Symbicort
. It is too soon to seek a GP for the usual, it is quite possible I won’t need them. Just hope I won’t need to later today, or worse still, tomorrow. It is not the way I planned to spend Christmas.

Symbicort SMART
Previously, I was on
Symbicort
400/12 which he considered too strong but was dealing with my symptoms. I now have a cold and would normally double my dose of preventer as a precaution but SMART doesn't work that way.

Trelegy Ellipta or Trimbo?
They are a triple action And believe that they replace spiriva and
Symbicort
. As you know, the COPD drugs are very expensive in my country. I get most of them from All Day Chemist based in India. But they don’t carry the latest drugs. I get my Spiriva generic and
Symbicort
generic from them.

Symbicort increased my anxiety
I just started using
symbicort
1 times a day. It improved my shortness of breath greatly but my anxiety increased. Hand feels shaking. Words got shakey when talking. Is this normal or should i stop? Will the side effects go away?

Symbicort 100/6
I am pleased to report after a week on
Symbicort
100/6 my asthma has settled down and my peak flows are a lot happier. It looks like relvar was not for me. It is so nice to be able to breathe freely after a period of difficulty.

Difficult to diagnose and treat asthma, not VCD... 3rd asthma doctor needed
I’ve tried Flovent, QVar,
Symbicort
, Breo 100 and I am now on Breo 200. I am allergic to dust mites and mold and ragweed. Do they do allergy shots for that? What else do they do for hard to treat asthma? Thanks for any ideas or thoughts on this.

I think my minds broken!
I'm trying to find the root cause of this and think it might me down to my asthma inhalers
symbicort
. Anyhow I'm writing this as I just had a episode during my son's Perents meeting. It's starts by being tunnel visioned and fi d it hard to focus.

Lowered dosage Itraconazole as well as Prednisone...doing well but started to get congestion and wheezing again.
Have been on
symbicort
inhaler for many years and all was under control....until ABPA. I don't really want to up the .05 mg. daily of oral Pred. if I can help it.

Confused and looking for advice please :)
My GP started me on Ventolin and beclomethasone, the coughing persisted so I was titrated up to
Symbicort
, avamys and cetirizine over a period of a few months.

Medication
Today I had a review on advice of Asthma U.K. nurse, who was concerned that I take four puffs daily of
Symbicort
normally. Over the summer I have tried to cut down to two per day a few times, but there was always something that pushed it up again.
