I have been on symbicort 200/6 for about 4 years two in the morning two in the evening. I feel fine during the day but between 4 am and 6am I tend to wake up with a tight chest. This disturbs my sleep .Fostair and montelukast do not suit me. I have tried a thick pillow! Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks.

When did you last have a review with your GP/nurse? It might be that your medication needs reviewing, notwithstanding you have issues with some of the alternatives. I'd book an appointment though as a starting point & see if they have any suggestions. Have you ever tried anything like Spiriva for example?

Not what you're looking for?
