Good Morning People I don't often post but I do read as I love the support.

I was diagnosed 2014 severe spent most of the summer on steroids and antibiotics.

Put on Symbicort 400/12

2015 3 month of steroid treatment week on 2 weeks off and back to the dr

2016 6 weeks steroid throughout the year

2017 a year after last lot of steroids back on for a couple of weeks(dust exposure)

2018 14 months after last lot of steroids back on 2 weeks (decorating)

lung function gone from 39% - 66%

on duo resp been reduced from 9/360 to 4.5/160

Only seeing Asthma nurse now. and I have lost weight.

Thank you guys for support because when I started this journey I thought my life was over. You gave me hope when I needed it the most.

I agree with all the members replies and you are proof that it can be done....taking regular exercise,sensible eating and portion sizes and also taking your rescue meds when you need to. A 👍great outcome furzdale1 ,very,very pleased for you!😁

This is wonderful news and so encouraging. My husband has just been diagnosed with COPD at 59 yrs. although it seems this should have been picked up before. Your story gives me encouragement
