Do you ever go back to “normal”?
I was discharged with my 5 day course of steroids, and
Symbicort
SMART inhaler. I also take Fexofenadrine daily. I felt great - I really did! Back to being able to jog upstairs. By early October my breathing was starting to decline again.

Do I need steroids again?
I was put on
Symbicort
200/6 (2 puffs am, and 2 puffs evening. Also take Fexofenadine) 5 weeks ago I felt short of breath slightly with constant cold symptoms - GP again gave steroids and Montelukast. Everything cleared up.

Bad exacerbation - when to return to work?
Thanks to a full asthma review (possibly the first "proper" one I've ever had) in hospital, I'm now home with
symbicort
, pred, and then spiriva when pred runs out.

AF and Asthma
My GP felt a change of inhaler might help as I'd been using
Symbicort
for about 5 years. My AF had got into a pattern of about every 2 weeks an episode of around 6 hours duration coming on in the mid afternoon.

Is my mother Asthma?
When she wheezed or felt need to take med she took
Symbicort
very rarely. This med is a maintenance med and not an attack med that she must use everyday but he uses once a month or 2 weeks. Does it mean that she is not asthma because she does not have attacks without meds or is it dangerous.

Acid Reflux from Symbicort
Began with
Symbicort
DPI, but suffered a number of side effects. Have changed to Seritide inhaler, but am left with acid reflux side effect from
Symbicort
. Has anyone experienced something similar? Has the change in meds resulted in the reflux dissipating over time?

Medication
I’ve changed to Relvar Ellipta this week from
Symbicort
. I’m experiencing multiple side effects such as unstable blood sugars, continual nausea, skin irritation. Has anyone had a similar experience and do these go away. Thanks in advance

asthma inhaler interaction with prednisone?
just adding to my previous post, yesterday I started using an asthma inhaler, (called
Symbicort
, active ingredients budesonide and fumaterol fumarate dihydrate ) prescribed for a long term cough, hopefully to be cleared up after two weeks of the inhaler.

Symbicort
Many years I have taken
Symbicort
. Yesterday with a new inhaler I got the worst taste ever. I have never gotten a very bad taste from it before. If I had to describe it it would be like fumes from the gas station. It’s kinda scary. Should I be concerned? Call the company?

Why aren't my meds working?
I'm on Fostair 100/6 (for years I was on
Symbicort
turbohaler 100 and then 200/6). I have a reliever Ventolin 100 too. I am checking my pt and my best is 350-370. I am still doing this reading now when I'm unwell. I feel short of breath and my chest feels slightly compressed.
