Anesthetist appointment

Hello all.

I have a video call appointment with a consultant anesthetist next week. Does anyone have any tips with questions I should ask. Are these appointments usually over the phone? How long after a appointment with the anesthetist did people get booked for surgery or have surgery? I'm anxious I've just started a new job and feel like I'm not far off surgery now.
