Possible relapse, trouble seeing Rheumatologist.
Hi, I have not posted in quite some time. Read other's mostly, and since I have been in remission for 7-8 years I have not had much I could add to conversation. I was diagnosed with GPA in 2015. Put on pred and mycophenolate initially, then two rounds of rituximab. I have been med free since 2016

Finally got result of sputum sample of 26 August. As suspected, pseudomonas still enjoying life in my lungs, fortunately I had started Septrin Forte when finished Azithromycin. I’m going away with daughter Saturday for five nights in Anglesey, cottage. I’ve been there years ago, riding pillion with

GPA relapse advice needed
Good Morning to you all. I was hoping someone who could advice me on GPA Replase. I was diagnosed back in April of this year spent over 2 weeks in hospital and treated with Rituximab and continue on steroids unable to tolerate Azathioprine so spent the summer reducing steroids down from 60 mg to 10mg

Ibrutinib - Septrin
Had a face to face with my haematologist today, first time in 2 years. One point of conversation was that patients on Ibrutinib are now recommended to a received Septrin (cotrimoxazole) or a pentamidine nubliser. Any one else in the UK received the same advice or on Septrin/Cotrimoxazole.

Update
To all those that wished us well for littleun’s first appointment at the RBH on Monday, I just wanted to let you know the outcome. Her fev1 was down to 47% and she very helpfully brought up some disgusting, blood streaked sputum, at which point our new named consultant phoned the bed manager in front

FCR Cycle 4 (For CLL) - Itchy Rash
Hello all CLL enthusiasts. I have just finished cycle 4 of my 6 cycle FCR treatment after being on 8-9 years W&W. I am on the FLAIR trial, but got randomly sorted into the current treatment. In hindsight I am not too disappointed as FCR is the current gold standard treatment, it hasn't been too bad to
