My newly found Consultant Cardiologist has prescribed me two new drugs. Sotalol and Flecainide. In respect of the Sotalol he prescribed .... " one tablet twice a day". My tablets are 40mg dose. This replaces Bisoprolol and Nebivolol that I have taken at different times in past years gone by. Anyone

Best Liquid Food for Hypoglycaemia
Just wondering if anyone can recommend a liquid food full of all vital goodies as finding it difficult to eat solids with nausea. Can it be hypoglycaemia due to Thyroid issue? Many thanks.

When flecainide is given as a bonus intravenously. Is it always with dextrose?
Does anyone know if flecainide is given with anything else.I was given it with dextrose 2 days ago. I looked it up, it is made from corn starch. I am highly allergic. I became ill immediately and now can’t get out of bed. The doctor ( who knew about my allergies) said it could only be given with dextrose

Hypoglycemia after IL
Hi all, I so appreciate this site for all the feedback, encouragement and good information from those who have "been there". My husband is 14 months post IL and recently been suffering with symptoms we now recognize as hypoglycemia. He gets clammy, shakes all over, light headed and weak if he goes too

Abandoned!
Well, finally had my 13/2 appointment with EP yesterday and as I don’t want an ablation I have been virtually abandoned. Was told I had tried all the tablets! Can’t take Flecainide it makes symptoms worse and been changed from Bisoprolol to Felodipine and now on Nebivolol. Keep taking the Nebivolol

Hydroxychloroquine and hypoglycaemia
Most people here are thoroughly bored of my tale of chronic exhaustion and episodes of sweating, flushing and nausea. I've had referrals to cardiology and neurology, as well as my usual rheumy and respirologist. None can explain these symptoms. Meanwhile, I have continued to be convinced that the explanation

Was just diagnosed with prediabetes :-(
I've known something was off because I've been having episodes of hypoglycemia in the middle of the night, so I somewhat expected it, but I'm still scared. Anyone else dealing with this or diabetes? How do you keep from having hypoglycemia overnight?

? Correlation between cirrhosis and hypoglycaemia.
Hello everyone. I am wondering if anyone with widespread cirrhosis such as I have, experiences symptoms of hypoglycaemia? Unused Medication
I took Sotalol for a short time recently and before I could use a new batch that had been delivered, I was changed back on to Flecainide by my EP. This morning I took the packets of Sotalol (120 tabs) out of the cupboard intending to take them back to the pharmacy, but knowing that they would go straight

Gaps in lay mans knowledge of diabetes.
I have always felt that generally a diabetic has no clear understanding of diabetes. Even less is known about hypoglycemia ,its symptoms and how to manage this emergency. I do not know what is the opinion of forum members.

Non diabetic hypoglycaemic episodes
Hi. I have been having episodes of hypoglycaemia at random times, going as low as 2.1. I am not diabetic but have just had a prolonged OGGTT test, waiting for the results. I am not overweight but have put on 1 1/2 st in a few weeks, any ideas what could be going on. I must say, whilst I have these episodes
