I have always felt that generally a diabetic has no clear understanding of diabetes. Even less is known about hypoglycemia ,its symptoms and how to manage this emergency. I do not know what is the opinion of forum members.

I take my breakfast by 8.30 a.m. and by half past eleven, often I used to suffer from hypoglycemic condition. At that time I used to munch one piece of wholewheat bread to keep me going till lunch by 1p.m. For emergencies I used to keep a small pack of biscuits in my car dash box. It is very dangerous if the sugar level drops down emphatically in a short while.

Another alternative is to split your food intake and consume in shorter intervals.
