In need of advice on recent bloods
He also wanted me to start
statins
due to cholesterol, but after some research of my own, decided not to take them. Is there anything else that I can be doing, I'm struggling with daily living at the moment, I'm lucky to have an understanding boss!

Stressed and Confused
I now have to go for another test, the cardiac catheterisation one I think, and start taking Aspirin and
Statins
. I just don't know what to make of it all. I've had no chest pain since last year and I expected them to say it was just stress. Been driving myself mad on google since I got home.

Severe pain in my arm
I am on warfarin, bisoprolol, ramapril and for the last two weeks
statins
after a MVP repair in 2017. The A&E doctor did not think that the
statins
would have caused such severe and localised pain. Has anyone else had pain in their arms that goes away after 10 minutes?

High Cholesterol, tinnitus & constipation link?
He also suggested coming off the
statins
and supplements. Since Thursday I've made sure I have more carbs in my diet and that has reduced the wobbliness/weakness in my legs but I still do get the occasional pain.

Statin reducing HDL
I wonder if others have experienced a drop in HDL on
statins
( in addition to tiny drop in LDL)? I was surprised as I thought taking a statin would only lower the LDL.

Statin or not??
Previously my GP has told me it's my decision about
statins
but for some reason today when I got my latest results (which are the same as last year) she thinks I should go on
statins
.

PMR caused by statin (high cholesterol) drugs?
Has anyone else connected
Statins
with PMR. Studies in 2014 imply that they are connected.

High Liver Enzyme Count
My liver enzyme count was high so the doctor reduced my
statins
from 100mg to 60mg and sent me for an ultrasound on my abdomen which was clear. The yellowish tinge soon disappeared and I retested my bloods 3 Months later and the count had dropped slightly but was still unusually high.

GP and Cardiologist Disagree On Statins
My GP thinks that I just need to make live style changes, by my cardiologist is pushing the
statins
. Thought? Cheers.

Understanding the vaccine priority
I take asprin, blood pressure tablets,
statins
, bisoprodol every day but they use the words ‘Chronic Heart Disease’ as the one thing related to heart patients. I presume having the heart attack makes that me?🤔

CHANGE OF BP MEDICATION - INTERACTION WITH SIMVASTATIN 40MG
However apparently Amlodipine does not interact well with
statins
40mg. So the GP has now put me on Lercanidipine 10mg. I post this as info in case anyone has concerns with Amlodipine and
Statins
being taken together and are experiencing side effects.
