Sorry if posted this on wrong community - had quite a lot of Pernicious Anemia or B12 deficiency symptoms last few months ( mother also had PA late 1990s) but doctor say blood tests didn’t show it and I have various other health problems.

Have managed to obtain copies of various tests done end of 2020 and compare with tests May 2020.

Discrepancies outside range I note are

Alkaline Phosphatase Dec 20 138 range 30-130 (May 20 130)

CReactive Protein(CRP) 7 Range 0-7 (May 20) 11

Mean cell hydroglobin Dec 20. 27.4 Range27.0- 32.0 May 28.5

Sodium Dec 20 133 Range 133-146 May 20 133

Monocile count Dec 20 0.60 Range 0.20 -0.80 Only mentioning this as May was 0.81.

Dec 20 tests done at Hospital whilst May done at surgery but as dr tells me they don’t get copy of Hospital test so couldn’t discuss on phone have had to get copy from hospital.

Finally had blood test at dr before Christmas - told short of vitamin d so take vit d tablets which I have done.Had further vit d test month ago and when asked different dr in surgery for results he gave figure of 130 and 146 and arranged for new blood test shortly.Couldnt discuss more so I thought would check vit d level on internet but these figures don’t relate to anything.

Had had to book further appointment re different matter with another different dr in surgery following week but when I queried vit d level quoted by previous doctor told I had used my ten minutes on query app booked for any anyway couldn’t check my results as they were on other doctors computer file.

Just want to be prepared when I finally get results of Blood Test due to have shortly.

Also re Alk phosphate figure quoted above dr said did I have liver problem that I knew of to which I said no (however on various medications so dont know if they effect it)

Also asked was I still on statins - was prescribed these late summer but tried two types over couple of months and had numerous problems so came off them and told dr Autumn 20(only had statins once before in lifetime and had same problems then)

Any comments re blood results much appreciated.Thank you.

Looks OK. Alkaline phosphatase is a little high. Could be caused by having a few too many wines in the previous few days.

C reactive protein is also a little high. But that can be raised by millions of different things.

Vitamin D - the NHS recommend we all take a low dose supplement. So pop down to the supermarket and buy a bottle.

Thanks birder for your response- wish it was result of wine but unfortunately haven’t had a drop for last two years since being put on various medications. Would love to have odd glass of wine or cider and hopefully can get back to that at some stage.

Not sure if c reactive protein is sign of inflammation but rheumatology had said I didn’t have rheumatoid arthritis.

Already takin vit d supplement daily so hopefully next blood test will give better reading.
