lipid clinic appointment
This is after he told me to stop the
statins
due to muscle pain. The bad cholesterol had gone up to 5.4 i believe and he wants it down to 2. Which i thought was a bit low. He also did the test for senile dementia, which i'm glad to say i passed flying colours.

disease The shocking truth about the new 'wonder jab' for high cholesterol Inclisiran halved cholesterol levels in patients at high risk of a heart attack Two others, evolocumab and alirocumab, can only be prescribed by specialists However, despite this, they cost roughly 100 times more than cheap

Stop the Thyroid Madness
I have been going to an Endo for 25 years and in that time all she ever did was give me a script of synthetic T4, read the blood work, tell me to lose weight and try to put me on
statins
for high cholersterol.

Side effects with Morningside T3 now on Teva
My accountant told me he gets the same symptoms from
statins
which I wouldn't touch with a barge pole. My GP assured me she would specify Mercury on my presciption but when I picked it up only Teva was the named medication. Cheapskates. Anyone else suffering side effects with Morningside or Teva?

Leg pain with Statins
Would anyone mind describing what your leg pain is like, that you think is due to
statins
. My GP doesn’t think what I have is typical. Many thanks.

The Cholesterol Myth
I was prescribed
statins
and when she found out she sat me down with the internet and showed me a video made by an American doctor who said there is no such thing as bad Cholesterol and that
Statins
are just a massive money making product by big Pharma. It was very convincing.

Does anyone have troubles when taking
statins
(muscle weakness, dizzyness, constipation, etc)? Some years ago the medical gurus said everyone over 45 should be taking
statins
. Later they came up with “unnecessary statin taking”.

Statins

What Every PWP Needs To Know About Probiotics For Their Symptoms and Quality of Life
Doctors typically prescribe statin drugs to try and normalize cholesterol levels, but
statins
are well known for their bad effects on muscle tissue and muscle pain in some people which can be a major setback for PWPs.

Why is it still a minimum dose?
Are medications for Diabetes, HRT, steroids for liver disease etc,
statins
or meds for other disorders kept to a minimum or prescribed as needed? Is it just us?
