Depo-Medrone injections
Does anyone have advice on the best way to taper down Depo-Medrone injections. Since last February I have been on 120mg starting on once a month, then every 5 weeks, this time it is 6 weeks and I am longing for it. Should I be cutting back quantity rather than time between injections. I go to my GP

Depo inj vs prostap
Hello everyone, I was wondering what the difference is between the depo provera injection and the prostap? I'm aware the depo provera is a contraceptive and the prostap is not but that's about it. Is there one that's better for endo than the other? I'm due for my 2nd depo injection at the end of the

Period blood clots (tmi sorry)
WARNING:GRAPHIC DESCRIPTION. Hello everyone, I started the depo provera injection last month and have been bleeding (not heavily) for about a week and a half now. I understand that this is normal for the depo (I've been on it before) but today I had a massive clot of period blood that looked more like

2 days after period...?
Hello, I'm new here :) I'm looking to see if anyone has similar pain. My pain is very regular 2 days after bleeding stops and always in the same place (pain feels around 3cm big), bottom right abdomen. The pain is very strong dull ache which can last hours if I don't take pain killers. What's quite

Could this be related to depo?
Since the beginning of July 2019 I have been through daily phases of very deep, un-ignorable lower abdomen and lower back pain. Very rarely does it reach above my belly button but it isn’t accompanied by any other symptoms apart from nausea and light headedness. It subsides with small amounts of bland

Depo provera fatigue
Does anyone else get fatigue on depo? Always so tired and doesn't matter how much I sleep I feel like I've never even slept, as soon as I lie down I just fall asleep and before at work my eyes would start going, can easily sleep all day and night as well, nurse says it's not normal but then the Dr said

Should I Be Off Steroids?
In August, 2017 I was diagnosed with PMR and began receiving 80mg Depo Medrol injections on a weekly basis. This dose, (which averaged 11.8mg daily), totally controlled my symptoms and brought my CRP from 50 to less than 2.9 and my ESR from 51 to 15. By June, 2018 (month 10) I had successfully tapered

IM depo medrone
Hooray, I’ve finally had my depo medrone injection today! The Rheumatologist is 50/50 as to whether it will help as I don’t have an official diagnosis....this is almost like a test to see if it helps. But I’m trying to remain optimistic! I just wondered how long it normally takes to notice relief? My

How strong is a Depo Medrone injection does anybody know?
In March I had my first long-lasting Depo Medrone steroid injection (standard dose 40mg per mil x 3 = 120). It worked very well and wore off after about 3 months. Rheumatologist said it was the equivalent of about 4 mg Pred per day and would last 6 months. I just had another injection two weeks ago

How can I stop my period
I’m on week three of my period!!! Last August I decided to stop getting the depo-provera shot as I’m now in a good spot for my life to start settling down and will want kids within the next two years! I was on the depo for 9 years so didn’t have to worry about a period through those years. The last

Has anyone else had this issue with the Depo-Provera?
After I had my depo injection, I’ve had a lot of issues with my bladder having to go for a wee loads and in alot of pain? Ive has many wee samples checked and sent away which has all come back negative. It’s affecting the pain in my lower stomach area as well. Is this a normal side affect?

Hashi's & Contraception Injection
Hi Everyone, I have hashi's and currently take the depo Provera contraceptive injection. I was recently told the injection stops the pituitary gland producing hormones and therefore you don't release an egg. With the pituitary connection I wondered if this will have an effect on my Hashi's? Does anyone

How to remove Zoladex scars
Hey everyone, I finished zoladex a while ago now but I have 4 marks from where the injection was placed in my lower stomach and I really hate them/ feel self-conscious as they are quite big. How can I like reduce the appearance of them or get rid of them? I also have a mark from the depo-Provera

Endo help post pregnancy
Hi, I’m about to give birth to my second child and need to decide what to do re managing endo once she gets here. I don’t get on well with progesterone (insomnia and strong mood changes). Thinking of either sodding it and trying depo provera injection or keeping fingers crossed and trying a natural path

M-Day! 😬
I gave myself a ‘sharp scratch’ with the pointy end of the Metoject Pen this morning, overseen by a gleeful husband waiting for the blood curdling scream 😱. What an anti-climax! I didn’t feel a thing & frantically looked around to find out where the orange liquid had gone! If anyone is new to the injections

Hi 🙂
Does anyone take a Vitamin D supplement with injectable Methotrexate? I have all my Metoject pens, folic acid & all the kit. I have a blood test request for whoever will do it & an appointment with my GP on 17 May to talk to him about what the surgery can do to help (notice! very politely put 🙄). Tomorrow
