Depo provera shot...
Hi just seeing if this has happened to anyone else really as I'm getting a bit worried! I had the 3 month depo provera shot in October but I never had the next injection as I had horrible side effects and I bled everyday for 3 months whilst on it! Once the 3 months was over I didn't have a period for

anxiety making me feel like i can't breathe deep
There is something in particular that makes me more anxious than any other symptom that anxiety causes. Some mornings I wake up and I feel like I can't take a deep breath. I don't necessarily feel like I'm short of breath, but it is very stressful. Then my mind starts thinking ill faint or have a seizure

Depo provera shot
I got the depo provera shot 10 weeks ago. These past 2 weeks have been bad. I have been dealing with constant anxiety. I am so worried I have a blood clot on my lung as that is a rare side effect. I feel so weird when I'm in public like the gym... I'm even more worried cause the shotime wears off at

Constant anxiety
For the past 2 or 3 days I don't seem to get a break at all in the anxiety Even when I'm on the treadmill I am so focused on the way I feel. I feel depersonalized and all these weird feelings. I stopped coffee today and I'm eating only healthy for a while. I was eating taco bell aND sugar a lot. Honestly

Anti inflammatory medication? ?
Hi, I would be really grateful for some advice about anti inflamatory I've been taking naproxen for around two months which I started during a big flare up. I've recently had a review at the gp and have been told I can only be on them for two month bursts due to the effect on your heart kidneys and stomach

Vicious anxiety and depression cycle
I'm pretty sure that the depo provera shot is intensifying my anxiety and messing with my emotions. I have multiple moods throughout the day and before I was on the depo I would be anxious and then depressed sometimes. This is like a huge roller coaster. I get in a really depressive mood and become super

Effects of depo provera shot
This is my second time on the shot. I was originally on birth control pills and then switched to the shot. I remember it caused me all kinds of uncomfortable side effects. Then I switched back to pill but I had to get off that due to my migraines with auras. Now I'm back on the shot. I regret getting

Feeling all weird
I feel really weird I started feeling weird earlier on today. I was sensitive to light and I felt like I would faint. For the past couple hours it feels like I'm not even "here". I was at the store with my friends and I felt like I was out of my body and not in reality. I keep focusing on mean things

Long-term experiences of being on depo provera for more than 2 years....
Hi, I've now been on depo provera for 7 years. I was unofficially diagnosed by my GP with endometriosis at age 22, but because I'm not sexually active, the women's health specialist at the hospital I was sent to refused to do any kind of surgical investigation because she deemed there no point in doing

Thoracic endometriosis!
Hi All. I've suffered with endometriosis for 17 years and had many ups and downs with it. I've undergone 10 laps to laser endometriosis and remove multiple cysts. My last lap was April 2015 where it's now on my bladder too. I've tried practically every treatment possible and now seem to have become immune

Tocilizumab - Has anyone had....
Hello I had my first infusion of Toc! On January 11th, it was ok needed to have the infusion slowed down as I became really Anxious, and had a bit of a Panic. It took nearly 2 hours and I felt a bit wobbly afterwards, very light headed and dizzy but it passed quite quickly. Two weeks in I had a DVT

Continuing saga
Hi! I wrote on here a few months back asking advice on finding someone to look outside the box after being treated for 5 years for sero neg RA and was no further on. Got a lot of interesting feedback from people on here, thank you, so thought I'd update you and ask your opinion on a couple of other things

Gonapeptyl depot inj. and rapid heart rate: has anyone else had this?
Hi everyone, I had my first Gonapeptyl depot injection last week. After a few hours, I realised my heart was racing noticeably (wasn't doing anything exciting ;-), just lazing on the sofa). I checked using a BP/HR cuff and my heart rate was 105, instead of the usual ~70 bpm. It's stayed around 100

Gonapeptyl for Endometriosis before IVF: where can I find detailed evidence?
Hi everyone, I'm on the hunt for any studies that demonstrate the effect of Gonapeptyl depot (triptorelin) injections on endometriosis so that I can try to make a sensible decision about IVF. Quick background: I have stage IV endo that regrows quickly after surgery. I am part way though my 1st IVF

Depo provera injection.
Hiya, I was just wondering if anyone has had the depo provera injection and if it's had bad side effects at all? I had it about two months ago and I'm pretty sure it's making me feel worse! So I'm unsure whether to get the next injection or not?!

Any Suggestions Welcome!
If any one could offer any advice I would be really Grateful! I have a Reumy Appointment on Friday, with the original Consultant who diagnosed me in April, and am feeling really scared! Silly I know, but after 3 Failed attempts at DMARDS, and a refusal to take the last one due to the possibke side effects
