Newly diagnosed after years of problems
Hi, everyone. I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and share my story. I was diagnosed with FND just a few months ago after years of neurological problems. They first started in 2006 with pain, mostly in my back, then I started having bladder problems, a foot drop on the right, mild muscle

Ocrevus-where are you??
I received my 2 half doses of ocrevus in July and August. I was due for my first full dose yesterday. I didnāt receive it because it was day four in the hospital. A month ago I started a relapse and it was discovered by an MRI that I have a new lesion growing in my thoracic. I did three doses of 1000

Curly hair?
Right now, my memory is not my strong suit~~~but I think I have been on Actemra injections weekly for about three months for GCA, along with Medrol. My hair has gotten a bit thinner, not too bad, but quite curly, ringlets. I was just curious if anyone else had experienced this? Finally, yesterday I

Bruising
I have found 3 bruises ( 2 large) have appeared in the last 3 days without any recollection of any accident. I am on Hydroxychloroquine and Benepali. I did have an issue with easy bruising ( and very slow healing) which started when I had a depo medrone jab. It continued for the 6 months I was on Methotrexate

Has anyone out there developed eczema out of the blue while dealing with PMR?
My second depo-medrone injection was Wednesday. Thursday morning I woke with a very itchy back, so bad I went straight to my GP. GP looked and said I had eczema. I have never had any skin conditions in all my long life. One more unbearable burden to deal with in an unbearable situation. Quite depressed

Help with hives
Hi, thyroid friends. I tried posting in the skin group but didnāt get any replies. Since I know hives is linked to hypothyroidism/Hashimotoās- I thought I might ask the group. Got cortisol saliva test results back - would really appreciate feedback and advice from others!
I just got my test results back from Genova Diagnostics. I have to say they came as a complete surprise to me as I was convinced I had adrenal fatigue. I realise they are all out of range, but wonder how common this is in a person who 1. has been diagnosed with adrenal fatigue in the past and treated

Dosage of Depo- medrol injection
Does anyone know what the equivalent oral dose of Pred. Is to a 40 mg depo- medrol injection? I am having yet another flare and usually this injection heads it off without my having to change my usual oral dose( 11 mgs). The first few days after the injection I was feeling much better but now seem to

Depo-Medrone injections
Does anyone have advice on the best way to taper down Depo-Medrone injections. Since last February I have been on 120mg starting on once a month, then every 5 weeks, this time it is 6 weeks and I am longing for it. Should I be cutting back quantity rather than time between injections. I go to my GP
