Vasculitis in my Spine "Central nervous system Vasculitis"
Just about over a massive flare. It came on sudden. Had a terrible migraine for 3 days with pain in my lower back, discomfort in my spine and pain in my legs that felt like growing pains yet I'm an adult. It was there constantly and nagging. Just felt strange. Woke the Sunday morning with not being

Bit of worry about Evenity
I'm a 60 yr/old female, fit and active, and just diagnosed with osteoporosis (-3.2 on a couple of vertebrae, -2.5 for rest). I'm in the US and was referred to both an endocrinologist and a rheumatologist and both of them recommended Evenity. My insurance will cover, and I have low risk of CV (a main

Has anyone been on forteo every second day and made good gains? I am managing every second day at the moment but finding difficult to get up to every day.

Any difference in gains taking forteo at night instead of morning
Has anyone made gains taking forteo at night instead of morning? I read an article which says that you only make half the gains taking it at night instead of the morning. I am getting really bad insomnia and wondering if changing it to the night instead of the morning will make a difference. Or if anyone

TPLL
I want to thank you all again for welcoming me into your community. Mike's cancer diagnosis has been very unique. As has his treatment. I don't recall what I have already shared, but his actual diagnosis ended up being TPLL (Tcell Prolymphocytic Leukemia). His WBC count went from 432,000 on 9/30 to 530,000

Forteo insomnia
Has anyone experienced insomnia when taking Forteo? I started off sleeping better on it but now, 6 x weeks later, am experiencing worsening insomnia, 3 or 4 hours a night mostly but sometimes around the clock on no sleep. Has anyone else had this, if so, did anything help or did it wear off as you were

Shortest Time Between Steroid Sets?
What is the shortest amount of time you've had between needing sets of steroids? Background: I only started showing symptoms in March 2019, and I've been lucky that they are still pretty mild (mostly just occasional tingling and altered sensation, with some swallowing difficulty and increased constipation

Finally got home late last night!
And I don't even know what happened! Yikes! Except that I had 3days of prednisone, then saw my neurologist. Then the next day he wants me in the hospital.😐 He even got my daughter on a conference call to make me! Ugh! What's up with that? Anyway, another 2 days of Solu-Medrol, and an MRI. To show

Change in drops for dry eye
My GP has written to me to say that they have decided to change my eye drops that treat dry eye from Hylo-Forte to Evolve HA. I am guessing for price reasons. Is anyone using Evolve HA? What do you think about it?

Dry eyes
My husband suffers terribly with dry eyes. He uses Hylo Forte and Poly Visc which help, but at the end of the day his eyes are very sore. Our Eye Specialist is advertising a new treatment (at least for the east coast of Australia) called Lipiflow. I was wondering if anyone has tried this and has it

Hi. I have severe osteoporosis too. Have been on Forteo for the last four months . Can’t say there are no side effects as it seems to effect people differently . So I won’t go in to what bothered me. Important thing is exercise as I found that when I sat around not doing anything I woul feel much worse

Does anyone have an experience with Forteo?
I'm new here and new to severe osteoporosis, no fractures, on Fosamax but endocrinologist suggests Forteo. 65 years old, female, feel great, handling Fosamax well. I'm reluctant to change due to costs, side effects, etc. Any experiences with Forteo or Tymlos? Thanks!
