GFR advice please
Serum
sodium
140 mmol/L 133-146 (no change) Serum potassium 4.6 mmol/L 3.5-5.3 (up) Serum creatinine 71 umol/L 53-97 (up) GFR calculated MDRD 75 mL/min/1.73m2 (down) I realise that all are in range but with GFR going down I wondered if there’s anything else I should be looking at.

Urine infection treatments for AF sufferers
Hi all, last year I suffered with a urine infection and in desperation went to the chemist and bought some
sodium
citrate (popular remedy for symptoms for cystitis). Within literally one minute of drinking it I was in full blown AF.

imodium
Hi, just wondering if other people are using imodium to control symptoms. I want to take just one a day to slow things down a bit and keep weight on. One doctor in the early stages of my illness said not to take, in case it causes an infection. However after diagnosis another doctor told me to go ahead

Of course I see my doctors regularly, and take a med for the pain and put on Diclofenac
Sodium

Energenesis
Here is a new supplement which has most of everything that isn’t a vitamin or mineral in it. Expensive but maybe convenient if you want to try all these things at once? https://www.theenergyblueprint.com/energenesis “Energenesis is like a 5-star MEAL for your Mitochondria (LOADED with rare nutrients

Can I give a little hope?
He was not allowed to take Spironolactone, as his blood
sodium
was low, and had to return to hospital for drains every 4 weeks for several months, and developed an umbilical hernia from the fluid build-up.

Ear drops have brought on Tinnitus.
Had blocked ears so started
Sodium
bicarbonate drops but since then severe ringing (which makes watching TV difficult) has started I think in one ear. Syringing was unsuccessful yesterday so a further two weeks of the drops has been prescribed before the ringing.

Control and Treatment of SIBO and IBS
I’ll also mention here mono-
sodium
glutamate (MSG). Clinical trials and several scientific articles connect MSG with IBS, so given the option to avoid it you should avoid it.

Effective Production of Sorbitol and Mannitol from Sugars Catalyzed by Ni Nanoparticles Supported on Aluminium Hydroxide - Merck & Teva
NiNPs/AlOH catalyst was prepared by a simple and benign environmentally procedure using less amount of
sodium
hydroxide. ICP-AES and XRD analyses confirmed that the NiNPs/AlOH catalysts comprised a large amount of remained aluminium hy-droxide (i.e. bayerite and gibbsite).

Has anyone stopped movicol /medication altogether?
Lactulose, senna,
sodium
picosulphate, biscodyl, and docusate. They all work initially and then they just stop and she can't poo for a week or longer. It's as if her bowels have gone to sleep.
