GP’s and meds (Losartan and Lercanadipine) !!
The nurse said all the readings were fine, but then she started to go right back through my records and she found that my
sodium
level had always fluctuated over the last 3 years and has only once been in the normal range!

I have reduced
sodium
due to the kidney issues, and my BP is well-managed. I’m 66, and eat a lower protein predominately plant-based non-processed diet. What am I doing wrong?

Need help finding Diet App for tracking dietary intake
I have been monitoring my intake but no formal or efficient way to track daily intake: protein,
sodium
, potassium, calcium, phosphorous, sugar, fat, calories, etc.I also track water intake, which is much easier. I've been writing down what I eat, but this is so time consuming.

Salt - serum sodium
Whilst my ESR and CRP are within the normal range my serum
sodium
is 130mmol/L. (133 - 146.00mmol/L). It has been like this for the past year or so and everyone has ignored it 'til now. I am not one for pills unless I really need them like prednisolone.

Just need to have a rant about this horrendous condition 😡
It I am also taking 40mg of Nortriptyline every night and 40-50ml of
Sodium
Picosulfate every night alongside the highest dose of Buscapan you can take. I am constantly batting with my doctors as they are reluctant to prescribe all this medication and do not take my condition seriously.

Falling eGFR?
My latest tests were: Serum
sodium
142 mmol/L,Serum potassium 3.8,Serum creatinine 78,! eGFRcreat (CKD-EPI)/1.73 m*2. 76 mmol/L umol/L mL/min. I felt really unwell when the tests were taken so wondering if this is possibly indicative?

B12 by injection 💉 - first steps . . . 👣
One of the commercial brands available is Neo-cytamen 1000ug/ml hydroxocobalamin for injection - the info for this (P.I.L.) is easily found online - a simple product with only
sodium
chloride**, acetic acid** (- vinegar) in water, with the active ingredient.

A new approach for treatment of subthreshold bipolar disorders: Targeted high dose levothyroxine+repetitive TMS for mitochondrial treatment
A very interesting paper. Difficult to grab any individual bits for discussion or introduction. The whole paper isn't very long. Even if bipolar disorders are not themselves of much direct interest, it might be worth a quick read because it discusses the control group as well and their ability to tolerate

Low sodium diet
Anyway, his Nephrologist put him on low
sodium
November 30th. I went on it with him and haven't had a migraine since! So for those of you who are supporting loved ones, just something to think about. 👍😊

3 weeks into disimpaction but can’t get to thinner stools than gravy
Done all the correct macrogol doses and still on 8 per day since day 7 (now day 21) and for the last two nights we’ve added one evening dose of 2.5ml Of
sodium
Pico. Still just gravy stools consistently. Do we keep going? Up the
sodium
pico?
